  1. But, Garver was heads up enough to motor on into third.
  2. I haven't been able to keep an eye on Mr. Gibson. How has he looked on the mound?
  3. You could always go the Milli Vanilli route.
  4. Amazing how such a misbegotten character among a multiplicity of pathetic creatures manages to stand out among the "Star Wars" oeuvre.
  5. Enumeration is all well an good but how do you feel about erudition?
  6. No lineups available as of this posting. Check back later and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please direct any and all complaints to management. Thank you.
  7. It looks to be another fine day for baseball. No, I don't mean the weather, I mean, any day is a good day for baseball. Granted, playing when it's 20 below out with three feet of snow on the ground might make things a bit challenging but hey, snow shoes, snowmobile suits and we're good to go, right? Yesterday, the Twins played rather ineptly yet pulled out a win. Hopefully, the Twins are a bit more ept and win going away. Pitching for the Twins and making his 2019 Debut: Kyle Gibson. I'm looking forward to seeing Mr. Gibson. He was fun last year and hopefully, we get that Gibson this year. Pitching for KC: Homer Bailey. I don't suppose there's a chance Mr. Bailey will live up to his name? Play ball!
  8. Cool night like tonight, I can see Buxton's back tightening up.
  9. Odd to see a Dozier run down the line for KC.
  10. KC isn't that good this year. But, the Twins might help to change that perspective. They're givers that way.
  11. It's early in the game. until it isn't.
  12. Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle as applied to pitching: You can throw the ball with velocity but not locate or you can locate but not throw with velocity.
  13. I noticed that also. Good for him, knowing he made a mistake.
  14. I should edit that, and, more accurately, "from what I remember reading." Maybe it's just an impression I've had and that impression doesn't resemble what I've seen on the field.
  15. I'm kind of scratching my head over Astudillo. From what I've read, he seems to be a marginal player, yet, whenever I've watched him play, he seems to hustle and be heads up.
  16. Very cool, knocking out Carrasco this early.
  17. He did hit the ball rather hard, so, it's understandable.
  18. Last year, this would have been a walk-over win for Cleveland, with Bauer on the mound. This year, Cleveland had to find a way to win, which is what elite teams do. Give the Twins and Odorizzi credit: They hung in there against a very good team.
