  2. You would not be alone in your confusion.
  3. Another math thread? Congratulations to Mrs. Brian, I might add. I say that, because in my own marriage, my wife deserves a lot of credit for putting up with me these years we've been together.
  4. I believe the number of times the Twins have been slaughtered far outweigh the number of times they've pounded the opponent. Either that, or the Houston pounding really skewed my memory.
  5. I believe run differential is also skewed, greatly, by the number of games the Twins have absolutely been slaughtered in. When a team loses several games by 7 or more runs, it doesn't take long for the run differential to get ugly, yet be somewhat meaningless when it comes to how the team is actually doing.
  6. To your point: in 2013 Nick Punto batted .333 in the post season for the Dodgers. Jeff Weaver pitched extremely well for the Cardinals during their post season run to a World Series win in 2006. Both are answers to trivia questions when it comes to MLB.
  7. You have rehearsals that are clothing optional?
  8. Interesting, thank you for the write up!
  9. Polanco hasn't been hitting. I accept that Granite needs to be in the lineup because the Twins need an outfielder. I don't accept there weren't better options at short.
  10. I can't even harp on the pitching to much due to all the men left on base. It was incredible. Been a season long problem.
  11. Was it the FO that made the decision or is that a Molitor thing? I know the manager has some say in roster makeup and I have to wonder if Molitor, being a Pohlad guy, has enough juice to get what he wants..and if the FO is more than willing to allow Molitor all the rope he needs...
  12. You're on the same wavelength as Dick Bremer? Seek help, young man, seek help.
  13. Pinch hitting Escobar for Polanco sort of makes me wonder why Polanco was in the game to begin with.
  14. Morneau is available. Sign him and send him down for a while to get his feet under him.
  15. Meanwhile, Dozier appears to have turned the corner while the rest of the team seems to have gone to sleep.
  16. I'm not nearly so concerned by Pressley as I'm by a manager who put two people who aren't hitting in the lineup tonight. How many LOB tonight? This was a winnable game with just one or two clutch hits.
  17. Yep, I'm digging that Vargas for Breslow swap.

  19. You got sidetracked by a well managed and well played baseball game?
  20. That's pretty awesome. Big stogie, zubaz. Now that is an old school type of character.
  21. Let me see, I'm making up a lineup card..I am going to put two players in that are not hitting and one of them is close to a defensive liability while the two players that have been hitting are sitting. Yep, sounds like a winning combination!
  22. Interestingly, Hunter sort of made the point that TK would sit people for not doing the little things right. Sort of an indictment of Molitor, I think.
