  1. Buxton certainly put a beautiful swing on that strike pitch.
  2. I recommend they only swing at strikes.
  3. It's a mystery we'll never solve
  4. Actually it's not the team loses brain functionality.... it's Baldelli!
  5. What do you hate more; games in big cities, or 1 run losses?
  6. I guess that must mean the FO must think they're already the best team.... disappointing.
  7. There is a 60% chance of the Twins get an ace by the deadline, but there's only a 20% chance of that happening.
  8. Well I finally know why the Twins keep Rocco as the manager.... He was voted best at determining if a foul ball hit the net.
  9. His era is now below 4.... I sure hope it continues to fall.
  10. Yep, that's why the manager bats him in the cleanup position.
  11. Baseball certainly can use more stats (wink). I like the idea of an inherited runner scoring era stat, but the number of outs when the reliever enters the game should probably be part of the equation.
  12. Fundamentals is what I liked best about Tom Kelly
  13. You probably got stuck in the hanger?
  14. That's because the runway is too short
  15. I don't know that answer, but I used to go there everyday to save enough big money to become rich.... I gave up when I ran out of money.
  16. Being both is the ultimate problem combination.
  17. Good call! Perfect time to give Larnach the opportunity against a lefty. As one the posters wrote in a different topic earlier today.... it's plain old fashion stubornness. Being stuborn is a horrible trait for a person in management regardless of the occupation.
  18. I agree, It feels patronizing to be proud of Rocco for letting a left-handed starter bat... but that's kind of the shape of things these days.
  19. There's always some luck involved, but winning 2 of 3 against the best team in 2024 (so far) without Correa, Miranda, and Lewis is great, though unexpected.
  20. Please remind me of the definition of insanity.
  21. Hopefully he'll be working on it in a Saints uniform by the Detroit series.
  22. I hope there's still more fluid in the extinguisher
