Its a very challenging fine line to walk between the "all in, win now" attitude versus the hoarding prospect for the "we'll get them next year" mentality. Most prospects never become above average mlb players.
I don't have a good feeling about today's game. Hopefully, its just the bad taste I have in my mouth from last night's dud. I wonder if Buxton feels he's able to play, or if he's seriously injured?
I just don't see an aspect of managing a team where is even average. I rate him below average at: line-up construction, bullpen usage, situational management, pinch-hitting substitutions, showing emotion when needed, etc.
I didn't realize he was still in the mlb. I hope he got his problems figured out. However, I'd like to see the twins score a handful of runs against him.
