    I'm pleasantly surprised that Rocco realized Lee is the better option at shortstop until Correa returns. Now watch... Brooks will blow a couple of plays today. But I hope not.

    I'm disappointed by the result of course, but SWR pitched great and the home plate ump called the strike zone better than most umps this year.

    Ever since I was very high and then disappointed in Kennys Vargas and Danny Santana when they were first called up, I try not to get my hopes up too high about rookie honeymoon periods.

    I was thinking some of his recent side-arm throws from in the hole looked very weak. Maybe I'm wrong?

    Lee really has an arm for any position! I'm certainly not an expert on this kind of thing, but should Lee and his arm be playing short instead of Castro and his arm (or lack of)?

    Too bad the umps and the strike zone box on the tv disagree with him. If doesn't learn to foul off questionable 2 strike pitches he can't be an above average (or even average) mlb hitter.

    One statement and one question: . Wheeler has thrown 34 pitches in 2 innings . If Jullian has such a great eye why doesn't he swing at close pitches with 2 strikes?

    Ober has only thrown 83 pitches. To quote Piersynski.... "Are we even trying to win?"

    Ober started off with a rough 1st inning, but certainly has pitched great since then... Nicely done so far. ps. I hope I don't need to start believing in jinx's.

    The only thing I don't like about Margot leading off is he's not then available to pinch hit early in the game.

    I don't know much about cars, but I heard blowing a head gasket can cause problems.

    At least he keeps making the same pinch hitting mistakes over and over again. Do you think he is incapable of learning, just too stuborn, or something else?

    Kirilloff is a player I had high expections for. I'm not going to pretend to know the whole story, but playing with an unreported injury (to the team) while underperforming is selfish. Perhaps I have my facts incorrect, but that's what it looks like from what I've read.
