No it was 1.5 era difference for Lopez. And for Ryan. Both were near 5 with Vazquez.

STOP BATTING HIM 3rd/4th Like my god. The stats are out there. Hes borderline unplayable with men on base. Stop giving Correa prime spots. If its broke, fix it. He can play. Just play him 6th or 7th. The Astros won world series doing it.

No our team era with Vazquez was 4.16 and 3.67 with Jeffers like 2 weeks ago. Its gotten worse since then.

Correa is unbelievable. But never held accountable. Hes batting 4th. 0/3 all with men on base. 2 with RISP. 2 Ks. The numbers say hes awful with men on. Then we let him do absolute nonsense like that on defense to hand Cleveland a run

Downside to the Royce DH games is we have Julien D who already shaky at 2B. Polanco at 3B is maybe just as shaky. Jorge much better at 2B. But I get it, Royce has to have some DH days to stay fresh. Its worth it.

Its simple logic. Does it suck to admit youre wrong and eat some dough? Sure. You know whats worse?? Eating 20 mil and letting a guy objectively make your team worse. We will have to do something. We are not gonna go Jeffers and Vazquez for two more years. Just have every single minor league catcher sit on freeze for 2 years of a guy who cant hit, catch or call a good game????

The staff as a whole is better with Jeffers. I dont have them now. But I know Ryan and Lopez are both trainwrecks with Vazquez and very good with Jeffers. Im talking like 1.5 era type difference for those two. Gray is the one that does better usually with Vazquez but a lot of that was April Gray.

It almost never is when the weaker catcher starters. His numbers with Vazquez compared to Jeffers are astounding

Good to get the bullpen already. Hopefully Williams is ok. Tough to know considering how wild he was. Maybe it was precautionary. Maybe it was when he fell over. They may start limiting their young guys innings in september and maybe 30 high stress pitches caused it. Hopefully not an actual injury
