KC has a young manager, but have essentially managers on the field with Perez and Tommy Pham. Detroit has AJ Hinch. That quote should have never left the clubhouse.

    Claiming they won’t fire Rocco because the Pohlads don’t want to pay 2 managers. They just need to shed payroll a little further in order to afford it.

    Seattle has gone 16-12 since firing their manager. Report were he lost the clubhouse and amid their free fall. DiPitio fired the manager likely to try to save his own job. Meanwhile, the Twins have gone 10-19 and likely would be the worst team in that stretch had it not been for the White Sox. I don’t know how Rocco has not lost the clubhouse at this point. I also find it fascinating how both Correa and Buxton got right and came off the IL the same weekend. I have no proof, just generating conspiracy theories. My conspiracy theory is they were content letting this collapse happen just so they wouldn’t risk further injury in a lost cause. We will never get the real answers we need for what happened, but hopefully some accountability is taken.

    He would be a good fit for the team, but not for the FO. Madden has made comments that he believes that analytics have went too far in today's game. The FO would never allow him to manage how he would want to.

    damn. They said we are facing a lefty on Tuesday. So we can chalk that up as a loss. We can’t hit now much less a lefty where we make each lefty look like Randy Johnson.

    I’ve been very critical of Rocco. Maybe everything was set up too perfect. Our ace on the mound. What appears to be a good lineup construction. I guess it’s his fault that we had nothing to complain about. 🤷

    I don’t know if a postponement would be better or worse. Better immediately as the bullpen gets a day off and you would get to recall a pitcher as an extra man. But then Pablo going tomorrow in game 1 cuts down on his next start.
