Win or lose. The two things that have been struggling this year have done their jobs. Pitching and defense.

Except in this situation, the morale will not improve as the beatings continue.

We get to see Cleveland's newest acquisition come into the game for Manfred ball. Bell will be at second, likely subbed by Outman.

If for nothing else, this should allow enough time to get Orze warmed up to come into the game.
  7. Western SD Fan
Likely so is Orze. I was going by who didn't pitch last night.

They somehow value Wallner's defense over Larnach's is the only guess I can come up with.

Uh oh. We need to take the lead here and hope that Gomez can go another inning. Our next bullpen choices by way of rest are Garcia and Topa.

He improved from his last at bat. At least he is missing pitches in the zone as opposed to out of the zone like his last at bat.

I love the optimism! So you're saying there's a chance!

Now the worst part of the game. When is the bullpen activated?

Here is where we need to take advantage of the mistake.

It looked like Joe Ryan held his breath a little bit when Lewis was calling for the ball. It almost looked like Lewis didn't see it right away.

Maybe we can free Bo Naylor from Columbus.

Just scored again. Now 2-0 Wild

Return of the 10 cent beer night in Cleveland?

I think he needs his eyes checked to see if he can find the strike zone. No pitcher is going to throw him a ball in the zone until he can prove he can lay off the junk.

More than I think the Twins would care to admit.

Great defense by Lewis! I'm very happy he is not taking his offensive woes out to the field.

I thought Minnesota was supposed to be a civilized state. Isn't having your dog come to the ballpark to watch the Twins considered animal cruelty?
  23. Western SD Fan
I was actually surprised they gave Suzuki the job over Torii Hunter.

But who will stop the rain? Also, the bathroom is on the right!

The cam operation is brought to you by the letter 'B', as in Bullpen Confidence Level, which is shaky at best.
