    Can't just presume Jeffers AB has the same end result if there's a guy on second. He could have been pitched differently, etc.. You can be aggressive to a fault and I think Royce was on that play.

    Would prefer that play from Royce in a tie game. You can't take yourself off the base paths there. Just too aggressive for his and the team's own good.

    Perhaps. He does have some tangible value, but I guess for me, when there's so much dead weight elsewhere, having him on the roster is magnified.

    I didn't phrase the question correctly. All things being equal, if those players were currently free agents, would another MLB team sign them? I think not.
