    It sure seems like that ‘sophomore slump’ is sometimes a real thing. A year ago, who would have guessed that Corbin Carroll and Evan Carter would be struggling this year. I hope Julien figures it out. Last year, it seemed like everything he hit was line drives.

    Carlos S has been huge hitting clutch the past two months. I remember the first six weeks we all pretty much wanted Santana gone. Good for him.

    I have a classic story about AC/DC. A girl I worked with attended their concert in Sioux Falls. After the show she and her friends wound up on their bus partying. The next morning she called our boss, was honest and said she was in Minneapolis waiting for a ride home. My boss came out of his office and asked ‘What the hell is a AC/DC?

    I really dislike giving up 0-2 hits, especially home runs! My junior legion coach always drove that point home to us.

    I might be one of few, but, I haven’t given up on Kiriloff. He’s just too good of a hitter to overlook. Like Buxton and Lewis, Kiriloff needs one season of good health to show what he can do. The big question is, is that possible?
