    Castellano and Varland take the place of Tonkin and Topa for now. Once we work out a deal with the Phillies, Blewett can be added to the 40 man and Castellano goes back to MiLB.

    Larnach can spend 2025 in LF/DH before he takes up 1B/DH in 2026. ⚾️

    May not even have to trade for him depending on the injuries to Tonkin and Topa. Maybe just kicking the can down the road but he’ll get some MLB exposure. Duran, Jax, Sands, Coulombe, Stewart, Varland, Alcalá, Castellano.

    The twins reportedly had tried to trade for him once already. Phillies called their bluff and we took him in the rule five draft. Be nice to know what we offered then because now that they know we want him (again). The price has probably gone up.
