  1. I disagree. I think he has solidly moved himself into a #2 catcher with upside. 2 years in a row with 1 WAR is a really good, and the bat is really starting to look solid. Dealing with 3 catchers for the rest of the year is fine.
  2. Overall I think its an ok team, and there is upside if they bring up the rookies which I think would be ill advised. I really think we should have done a full rebuild and traded Jeffers and Ryan. We will get value from Jeffers most likely so all in all I am ok with it.
  3. Because thats the Catcher Duo for next year and its a good value.
  4. Jackson has good value for the Twins for next year.
  5. Im ok with the deadline. Not great but if only losing Hill I am ok. I also do think keeping Larnach will be good for the Twins. We can effectively replace Dasan Hill with the QO pick in the next draft as long as Jeffers doesn't get injured and continues to be strong down the stretch.
  6. Staying which is great news to me.
  7. Funny enough its going back from the Tommy Nance trade.
  8. Minter is a rental.
  9. Its still less than Bradley for Jax and Rojas and Roden for Varland or Tait and Abel for Duran.
  10. Hoffman has failed 2 physicals back in 2025 so something to consider although I doubt the Twins will have an issue. Twins are definitely paying more for players that have performed well recently - Abreu and Hoffman.
  11. 250k International money going back to Toronto as well.
  12. To be fair I don't think Hill is still viewed as a fringe top 100 year after this year.
  13. I would take Rojas over Hill right now.
  14. Hayes is saying Twins taking on 2026 salary for hoffman salary tax reasons, Toronto taking on some of the salary for 2027. $5 million or a little more would even it out.
  15. Kremer can play like a #3 even if he is a #4 or #5 for us.
  16. Hill, Klein, Pena - Yuck
  17. No they got gun shy after losing a couple games and Zoll may have finally talked some sense into Pohlad. I think Pohlad is effected by the boards, so the lack of love for the moves he has made. Holy Sh*t Jeff Hoffman
  18. You can't be upset with the results, its that they were active and that deadline was universally applauded for being aggressive and smart.
  19. No love for 2022 either?
  20. You must have missed last year 🤣
  21. Yankees not having acquired a catcher yet is interesting.
  22. He has 36 innings. We know you don't like him. No different than several didn't like Bradley last year. Its a bit of a gamble but its a fairly cheap one for an 18 year old international prospect.
  23. You aren't catching the drift - Tampa was frustrated with Bradley didn't think they could get full potential so traded him for another player that was worth 20 million excess value. Baltimore is trading a player they view as a 5th/6th pitcher that they may have DFA'd at the end of the year. They are taking a true flyer on a kid that is more raw than Brandon Winokur was. I think the Twins see a #3 pitcher potentially in him for the remainder of this year and next. At the very least a pitcher than can eat a lot of innings.
  24. Gleeman stating at least 1 more deal. Seems like Larnach and call it a day.
