  1. I have 1. Vahn Lackey 2A -Walker Jenkins 2B - Houston 4 - Culpepper Houston ceiling is a better hitting Greg Gagne. Thats a borderline hall of fame player. The defense is elite - the hit tool is very very good - he controls his at bats well, the power is improving and he is a menace on the base paths. His floor was already high. So yes I think he is a top 25 prospect in my opinion with a really high floor, and a very high ceiling. Now as I have been reminded - prospects are suspects and things change as you go up levels but I have a lot of confidence in all 4 of these players. As to Culpepper - there are 9 positions on the baseball field and 3rd base was always going to be a possibility for him. He can be the shortstop until Houston comes up.
  2. Or just say he has a hearing issue and equip him with a cochlear implant that is paired with a microphone. LOL
  3. 56-58 Ill update the odds tomorrow,
  4. 90 pitches in 5, I’ll take it. We were close to breaking it open but no cigar. Honestly though down 1 and into their bullpen, I like our odds.
  5. Well Ryan up to 92 mph. Maybe can get to 94 by the 6th.
  6. Well 50 pitches in 3 innings. Keep working on him. Let’s see a 30-40 pitch inning and a couple runs in the fourth.
  7. We are so focused on max exit velocity we are not sitting back and trying to drive the ball opposite field, and we are getting way ahead hitting on the end or inside of the bat, We refuse to be patient, If you are going opposite field then ahead you are driving to centerfield.
  8. Dang we suck, I may have to rename the Post trade deadline thread, The Tank Part Duex.
  9. His body starts breaking down after 4 months. We need to build in a 3 week break around all star break. 1 star on each side. Let him work out, refresh and get back to it.
  10. Bats better get going because they are teeing off on Joe.
  11. Stop hitting weak grounders to second base!
  12. Here we go, let’s have some good at bats and make Dobnak work.
  13. I personally think they are going to lengthen him out and do some work in AAA. For me this is what I was hoping for.
  14. I’m talking about Jackson. I said like bell you will have to deal with 3 catchers the rest of the year.
  15. Well just like Bell you better just learn to deal with it the rest of the year otherwise we lose him for next year. Yankees or another team would pick him up. As to Gray he’s up until Buxton gets healthy or they call someone else up.
  16. What is this in reference to? Jackson and Bell? We are carrying 3 catchers for the rest of the year. Carrying 3 catchers never used to be unheard of and some organizations still do it. Especially when the rosters expand.
