    You are not alone. He has fan appeal but it is highly unlikely that he will be free from repeated injuries in 2026 and 2027 looks to be a lock out scenario. I hope not, but my gut says that 2025 was an anomaly for the Buck Truck.

    When was the last time the Twins had a decent first baseman who actually lasted more than one year? 🤔 ...since you mention a far-fetched Sano possibility...how about seeing if Hrbek might be interested..

    Agree....Clemens is better in a Castro type role where he fills in at various positions......the pitching issue is the big issue...dumping the 2 top starters will provide the fans with the idea that abandonment has completely taken place.

    I like Larnach and his hitting statistics were towards the top of the team in 2025. Ryan and Lopez will probably be next on the block. If Buxton can get a trade to his home state of Georgia, he should take it. It will be a AAA team taking the field in 2026....should help the salary crunch for the Pohlads but an empty Target field will take place....is Taylor Swift, Springsteen or even Bad Bunny available for a concert after a game.. ..maybe think of some promotions ...bring back Disco Night

    Not really....I am very much hoping that he does well. The team needs a local kid now they traded away Louie. I just wish that tue swing thing was fixed. My fingers are crossed that he does well in 2026.

    If you want to examine stats...well..Larnach did much better overall in 2025. Wallner needs to learn how to select pitches more carefully. His weaknesses are well known by opposing pitchers. He consistently struggles making contact with a fastball up in the zone...there are other challenges that are well documented. Someone needs to work on his weak areas which are frankly similar to Gallo .... do a bit of research. .his OPS and rOBA...Rbat and slg ..BA...and other areas were lower than the prior 2 years despite having more at bats...

    Well...maybe bring back Gallo to play first.. is he available?....Pagan is all over the news and is being sought after by 10 teams per the news flash...2.88 GPA...seems like old times 😀

    I stand corrected....may also want to consider Wallner's 2025 BA.. he cannot stay at that level if he plans on being at the MLB level long term...he has a great arm in the outfield which has helped the Twins..but he has to get a grip on his hitting specific pitches...I don't see Clemens on the team long term. But Wallner staying in the big leagues really depends on him improving on hitting next year...it is a huge weakness...he doesn't want to be known as a Gallo

    The big challenge for me is that Clemens can be used in many positions if a person is missing due to injury... also...people should realize that a strike is probably going to occur after this season....it is my belief that the owners of this team has that in there minds and are perhaps unwilling to invest much in salaries.

    Agree...but the guy seriously needs to work on his hitting challenges in my view. If not, he is going to go the way of Sano. Hope not....but he hopefully is working on the issue with a skilled coach during the offseason. Clemens hit more home runs than Wallner last season regardless of Wallner being hurt...

    Very true.. but Molitor did not meet the last item that I noted prior to his arrival with the Twins as he was entered as a rookie manager...regardless...Molitor is a gem in my book..believe he won a Manager of the year award..and Falvey fired him a year later...

    Did he have a baseball card even made? If someone has it...save it as it will be worth a lot of money when he enters the HOF.....🤪

    When was the last time a Twins coach had a silver slugger, gold gloves, multiple all star appearances and had experience as a MLB manager?..not saying it translates to being a great coach. .. but still...he has some expertise at being at a high level.

    Watkins is not a loss... a change was needed in that role more than any other at the coaching level. Regardless, Nice guy. wish him luck in Atlanta. .

    Good hire and a former Twin....Still...Sugggs was very good at his job....Latroy will be entering a MLB full time coaching position for the 1st time. .he will be in a learning mode on communicating with these young guys...regardless..🙂

    Whoops...you are correct...regardless...check out the MLB stats page for the Twins and compare him to others...he is much better than most...fact is that they can get him fairly reasonable...one more year ..yes.

    Don't totally disagree on Clemens...but he can play several positions ..Bats from both sides of the plate...and has higher qualities including home runs than some of the other fellas on the team...and he hustles...
