    I know you risk getting swept if you over manage for the sweep, but in our situation I'd over manage for the sweep. Hunter and Suzuki would be on the bench and no dependable pitcher would pitch (Boyers performance ignored).

    The bad news Molitor wasted a pitcher he might want to use in the later game in a 6-0 game. The good news 2 straight hits would have been really bad in that situation.

    Probably should of gone with the sacrifice bunt with runners on 1st and 2nd and nobody out.

    True but either they use triple A pitchers the rest of this game and we can get guys like Hunter a couple innings off in the field or they waste some of the bullets for the 2nd game.

    No reason to have humans calling ball's and strikes in 2016. If you have to pay all the current umpires $1,000,000 for them to agree to it do it.

    3rd quarter is about over and nobody has more then 4 most of which were 80 or older. It's gonna take a lot for this not to be the lowest scoring year I've ever seen

    I'm watching todays games from the perspective of a really bad baseball movie. That should guarantee we sweep.

    I just wanted that money put back into the roster. Maybe the preseason budget assumed selling, and between keeping everyone and adding jepsen we came close to hitting that number. Maybe it was just hard to find a move that worked and was a clear upgrade.

    Disagree, "this long" in the context of what he is trying to accomplish is like a starting pitcher having a 1-1 count to the first batter. Because he's self funding all we know is he as a stand alone candidate has decent poll #'s in a large field. Replace Trump with Hillary in the Republican polls and the #'s wouldn't be that different. These polls are imprerfect and do capture people who want to see the Republicans lose the general.

    I'm Rand Paul until he drops, but my support turns to Cruz I'd strongly consider Carson but he will probably fade before that time and I think I'd settle on Cruz anyway.

    Any one run loss blown late is great, but if I could have any loss back it would be the 11-0? loss the first week of the season. That would put us at 2-5 going into our winning streak and change the entire additude of the season, not to mention it would effect run differential to the point where maybe Terry Ryan would have believed in us to the point he would have been willing to make a move to spend the Santana money pre all-star break. That Santana money thing annoyes me because if we carry it into free agency this year even if we spend it 9 million on a multi year deal makes little difference, but to bring a rent a player with a 12+ million salary for no additional budget would have been huge.

    The rates themselves work, but when people start losing that child credit again it's the working middle class that loses out. I'm more worried about spending cuts, from Trumps rehtoric on the militrary, the wall and his personal additude spending cuts don't seem possible.

    Exactly it will either come down to Rubio Cruz or Bush Cruz, if it's Bush Cruz I give Cruz a decent chance. Rubio is almost 50/50 to win the nomination in my mind now.

    Amazing when you have a field of about 8 great candidates none of which are named Bush or Trump. Xruz will finish at worst 2nd.

    Maybe they should arrest him? It will be odd should he get the nomination, and he has an outside chance when he gets well over 40% of the vote.

    Hrbeks grand slam, in the car on about a 5 inch black and white TV, or the radio if the reception wasn't coming in for us at the time. We were in between a wedding and the reception of Twins season ticket holders, my dad had been warning them all summer they would be playing game 6 that day, I think they even moved the time of the wedding time up assuming a night game. A lot of car horns went off for that one.
