    I don't understand Buck leading off. He likes to swing at the first pitch too much. I'd rather have a pitch taker in the lead off spot.

    They traded all but 3 players OTHER teams would want on their roster. The rest are DFA candidates. Not exactly a scary roster. The buck stops at the owners desk. Falvey made bold moves when he had the ok from the owners. The right sizing of the budget has left him hamstrung. Now they cut the scouting department. JFC, there is more to baseball and the players than a stat sheet. I followed the Twins 'right sizing' of my budget and only attend ONE game this year.

    barely seemed to care sums up the look of the 2025 Twins. Remember in April/May it "was too early" to be concerned with their play and record. Is it still too early?

    Falvey thought he had this team ready to win for 2024.2025,2026 an 2027. The fact that he blew it up 2 and 1/2 years early tells us all we need to know about their ability to compete in he near future. The AAA retreads that occupy the new look bullpen tell us all we need to know about the readiness of pitchers in St Paul and Wichita. It wasn't injuries that doomed them this year, it was philosophy.

    I never saw Aaron, Mays or Mantle until they were well past their prime. Jim Kaat said on a broadcast that Aaron was the best he ever saw. I'm thinking Bo Jackson or Ken Griffey jr would be hard to top. My favorite is Kirby Puckett as I have the same body type but he was a successful athlete and I am on the key board.....
