    Well, thats a wrap. Even if we get out of this inning, we have no offense and we're going to have to go to Pressly and Reed in the pen.

    It's perfectly fine regardless of the score and regardless of the inning. Just because you're up 8-0 in the 8th doesn't mean the other team can't score 9 runs in 2 innings. The whole, "you're up by too much, you need to stop trying as hard" unwritten rule is a crock of ****. These are professional athletes being paid hundreds of thousands to tens of millions of dollars a year. They should be busting their asses if they're up by 10 or down by 10, and the fact that they're getting worked up over the other team giving it 100% effort is an embarrassment to the organization. The fact that Molitor is making statements to defend it is an embarrassment to the organization.

    Molitor is a clown. The guy has never stood up for any of his players with the umps, but he thinks plunking a guy for stealing a base in the 4th inning is standing up for his team.

    Holy hell, Berrios. I guess he figured if the team can't do it for him, he'll just do it all himself.

    If Pressly, Reed, or Belisle pitch in this game, Molitor should be escorted out of Target Field and be given a lifetime ban.

    The Twins are playing the long con - if they drag out the game, its going to get close to dinner time and Colon is going to get distracted thinking about food. And that's when we strike.

    Honestly, I don't think they were intentional. We've just been trying to pitch him inside, but our pitchers suck. Banister seemed pretty pissed off though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some retaliation at some point this series.

    No idea if any of them were intentional, but I'd bet someone on the Twins is going to get plunked today or tomorrow.

    Ah yes, just keep trotting Pressly out there. I'm sure having him pitch 80+ games this season will work out great.
