  1. Are you sure it's just one game? The stats shows Dozier rarely performs when it matters throughout his career.
  2. I don't understand why people would like someone who hardly performs when it matters. This game is about scoring runs not stats.
  3. So you think it's okay to perform like that. Cave also had a bad game tonight. 4 Ks I think.
  4. Dozier surely has a negative effect in the game for the Twins. When runners were on the base, he either hit into DP or failed to move the runners over. That's pathetic hitting.
  5. Another RBI when RISP, that's why Escobar is so valuable.
  6. Dozier is not doing much in today's game. GIDP, strikeout, strikeout. Whoever lets Dozier hit 3rd in the lineup is creative. It's a creative way to lose games.
  7. Dozier is not doing much when it matters in today's game.
  8. If he can drive runners in when it matters, he would be greatly appreciated. Example: last game.
  9. What really matters is the ability to drive runners in. That's Dozier's weakness. The Twins certainly should trade Dozier for the best return possible.
  10. Who do you want when RISP? Dozier is probably the last player I want in that situation.
  11. They moved him because there were too many catchers in AAA and they needed his bat in their lineup. There are still 2 or 3 catchers in AAA right now.
  12. This is why I like Escobar. This season when RISP Escobar bats .367 with 5 HRs and 43 RBIs. That's clutch. Dozier is absolutely clutch in today's game.
  13. I just saw the stats: this season when RISP Escobar bats .367 with 5 homers and 43 RBIs. That's clutch. Dozier is absolutely clutch in this game.
  14. Why is that? Dozier still needs to do that more often. He needs to do more situational hitting instead of trying to hit it out every at bat. This is just one game. Anyone can be a hero in this game. Don't get too carried away. My favorite team won the game. I feel good.
  15. Yeah he's going to have to do that more often though.
  16. Nope, he still needs to do that more often for me to shut up.
  17. Dozier needs to do that a lot more to make us shut up though.
  18. Dozier did exactly what he should do. He got a pitch right down the middle and hit it as far as he could to drive the run in and it happened to be out of the ballpark. He needs to do that more though. That's situational hitting.
  19. Why do you sign someone who hardly delivers when it matters? Anyone can play 2B. If you want to see more solo homers, try home run derby.
  20. Rodney might be the best to get out of the jam and he did. I think it's a good move.
  21. Matheny was fired after 2-8 loss to the Reds. Molitor is still employed after 6-19 loss to the Rays. Different standard indeed.
  22. I care less about BB per 9 IP as long as he can prevent the runners from scoring. Rodney is a perfect example.
