    Rocco Baldelli and his staff of assistants should be fired. Their consistent miscalculations end up as loss column additions weekly. For that matter, send the FO regime down the road too.

    The immediate nose dive team took after Lopez injury news mirrors the performance after last season when Ryan was shut down. FO has failed to assemble a 40-man roster capable of withstanding injuries. The Baldelli system doesn't work without the proper parts.

    My concern with moving Meada to BP is that he rarely looks sharp in 1st inning. He seems to loosen up and command his pitches better in innings 2,3,and 4. This tendency could prove disastrous as a reliever in Playoffs.

    The real issue is this organization expecting Buxton to hit for anything more than a week or two without going into another slump or landing on IL. His entire career has followed the same pattern.

    Jeffers finely contributed offensively today but that has been rare. The lack of caught stealing numbers between our two catchers is really adding up and has to improve. A trade for a more dependable receiver behind the plate would be an upgrade for this team.
