  1. What do the twins like about this guy? Besides the shoulder history
  2. Who's on the Twins radar right now? Cmb I know you are one of the go to guys on this
  3. Love the stewart pick, but I'll be upset if the Twins play it too safe for the #43 pick. I don't want another low ceiling pitcher... roll the dice on pitching or please give us a good position player. Maybe Denney?
  4. Serrano looks like an absolute stud. Obviously it's tough to predict, but do we really think he'll be around at #43?
  5. As I understand the rules, there's an exception if you have a prescription for it. Shane Victorino, for example, is a guy with ADHD who uses it legitimately with a prescription. Not surprising at all IMO. Take it from someone who is just one year removed from undergrad, tons of kids use Adderall to cram during finals. More than you could ever imagine. It was a dumb mistake, but not really one that raises Randy Moss esque red flags for me personally. Yes, it can be used to improve on-field performance, but I don't think Gray's stuff this year is anywhere near even slightly dependent upon Adderall.
  6. Hats off to Hicks for his first couple ABs, but that was ugly
  7. There of plenty of talented players/ potential HOFers who got drafted after the tenth round. Maybe the Twins haven't done the greatest job in late round drafting. Who knows though. At that point it's just a crapshoot. Albert Pujols (13th) Mike Piazza (62nd) John Smoltz (22nd) Keith Hernandez (42nd) Ryne Sandberg (20th) Jose Bautista (20th) Jeff Kent (20th) and many, many more. Including some guy whose name rhymes with Spolan Bryan. To answer your question though, I don't think the talent distribution justifies saving some extra $$ on the 1st rounder. I'm not opposed to it in the abstract, but I don't think this is the year for it.
  8. Good.
  9. He picked "Can't Stop" which is one of their more popular ones (still quite good). I absolutely love the Peppers though. It's a shame Frusciante moved on but I'm thankful just to get as much great music from them as we did
  10. I know we have more of a "mature" audience here, but does anyone else enjoy Parm's use of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in his walk up song?
  11. Look guys-- we have nice things!!
  12. Too bad we can't play the Brewers more often
  13. Eddie Guardado- How Many More Times
  14. The Pohlads- Nobody's Fault But Mine
  15. Pre-season Kevin Correia... Trampled Under Foot?
  16. Simply "liking" this would not have been enough... well done sir
  17. I have a tough time keeping May in the top 10 given his performance this year, especially in light of his K/BB ratio. Do you still project him as more than a future bullpen piece? I personally have more faith in Meyer who is being pushed. Nice list though. Do we have anymore news on Kepler's return date? I'm really excited about that guy
  18. Yeah guys thanks for this stuff. I want Stewart desperately but Shipley is a guy I'm pretty intrigued by as well. He has tons of room for development and already has a solid changeup
  19. Is it really possible for the Twins to buck their (historically) conservative draft ideology in favor of drafting a guy like Stewart? I sure hope so. I'd love to have him at #4 but I won't get my hopes up
  20. Hell yeah Eddy! Good ABs from everybody right there. Finally a flash of the Twins I used to know
  21. Can Eduardo come through in the clutch yet again???
  22. Atta boy Aaron. Really hope he can put it all together soon
  23. I appreciate Mauer's track record with 2 outs/RISP but I am deeply upset by that K
