    Great rip there from Arcia

Competent play from the infield... I appreciate the little things in life

The guy freely acknowledges his humble origins and the importance of humility towards the end of the article. He is still just a kid. I personally admire his ambition and confidence. To be the best, you have to believe you are the best. You also need to have the skill to back it up. From what I've seen in read, I truly believe Sano has both.

Bad day for the twinkies, it's alright though we'll circle the wagons and line em up next time. Gotta say im excited about arcia and hicks' improvement. Dave I just wanna say I love your avatar. There are few things more american than some good ole CCR. What are some of your favorite jams? For me, Born on the Bayou and Green River are at the top, among others. Proud mary and ramble tamble are also just phenomenal. I just wanna say ive been reflecting on joe mauer's career recently. I will feel absolutely awful if we cant get the guy deeper than the first round of the playoffs. I'm about to write him a letter of encouragement, letting him know we are all behind him. The guy is so damn athletic. It's not every day your gatorade player of the year decides to play baseball. and im so glad he did. He is a true ballplayer, acts like he's been there before. There are some other guys in the league who can be real showboats. IMO, guys like Cano or Kemp can act a little bit childish after sending one deep. Joe, he acts like a real professional, like he's been there before. That's what I appreciate most. He knows he is so good, he doesn't need to compensate for anything with gimmicks after a home run swing or RBI double. Why? Because he's joe mauer. He's been there before. This isn't new to him. What a professional. If I could emulate one man's attitude and professionalism in life, it would be his. Roll tide, and go twins

This is why we cant have nice things

Listening to some CCR right now, baseball and creedence make a great combo

I hope Benoit is coming in, that guy is a clown

If the draft were tomorrow, would Serrano likely even be around for the Twins to grab in the early second round?

Not sure if that was sarcasm but that ball was absolutely uncatchable. On a different, and genuine note, does anyone think Mauer has been striking out more often this year? I haven't seen all the games, and maybe it's just unfortunate timing, but I've seen him K more than in the past.

Lets go scotty, go twins and roll tide

Great picks- looked like we traded with the Pats for the 29th pick!

Sharrif Floyd is an absolute animal, great pick by the vikes. wasn't expecting to see him this far down

    Absolutely back-breaking

What a damn shame we leave Escobar at third there
  15. B Richard
Unfortunate start, but 4 runs is still in the realm of manageable if Pelfrey can settle down/someone else comes in. More than 4 and I start to get sad
  16. B Richard
I could really get used to this whole "winning" thing

Re: Correia I have no problem sending him out to start the 8th, but you have to have guys warming up in the bullpen incase KC hits trouble. That was the issue in his start against the royals. Gardy didn't have anyone warming up

    Arcia's forearms... woah
  19. B Richard
    Phew

Very true. Even then though, he'll need to improve his control...

Ladies and gentleman... after a quick google search and several minutes of uncontrollable laughter, I present to you: Brandon Creath. http://www.foxsportsnext.com/content/dam/fsnext/nostoryimages/players/C/Creath/158038/rostered/6375751/MLB_Brandon_Creath_6375751_081612.jpg

Comes with the territory, Miguel. Hope the no-namer that tried to bean him gets his just desserts. Sano doesn't seem like the Milton Bradley hothead type, so I don't have any issue with the way he handled things here. He is still just a kid and will mature over time. A little chirping here or there isn't going to really hurt anything
