  1. Still have confidence in the pen right now
  2. Just takes one mistake to Plouffe...
  3. Great work Vance, you did your job. Let's see if we can pick up some runs and turn it over to the pen now
  4. Not terribly impressed with the White Sox batting lineup, to be honest
  5. They've been sending Hicks curveballs all day. And why not...
  6. Definitely has at times, although I don't really see one team benefiting from it over the other immensely. Good break for Worley IMO
  7. Peavy has thrown 59 pitches through 3
  8. Dozier scores on Willingham single up the middle, Mauer to second. Morneau pops out. 2 out Parm at the plate, struck out first AB
  9. Great AB by Dozier. Gets down 0-2 then works the count full. Put enough of the bat on a curveball to get it into left field
  10. First AB looks at 3 straight strikes (fastballs) that appeared to be (from my perspective) right down the middle
  11. Plouffe is just here for the sights, apparently
  12. Thanks a bunch Seth, I've been wondering about this. I personally have no issue giving some young guys a chance to develop/prove themselves. As an older guy in a utility role, you have to understand that this is a possibility. Wish Jamey the best though, I really like the guy.
  13. Florimon!!! Sweet baby jesus great play
  14. Not an easy play but I'll wager a good number of RFs make it
  15. Incidentally the trick was: now you see me in the batters box, now you don't
  16. Cmon Papa Parm lets see some magic
  17. does Pelfrey come back out?
  18. What happened to Wilkin? Anyone see?
  19. Question(s): Let's say Correia got through the 8th inning without giving up a run. As the game goes into the 9th, do you trot him back out there? Is it dependent upon pitch count? The game is 1-0 and you have a solid closer. Do you put Correia out for the 9th inning of his shutout? Do you consider his historical K/9 numbers or lengthy track record?
  20. I like it as a shrewd business decision. I didn't think they opened the gates early enough prior to see the Twins take bp anyway.
