  1. On the wall at the minor league office.
  2. Sano is playing right now in a game. The new roster out today has Sano at AA, Buxton remains at AAA.
  3. Right. He should of caught that ball, and then got a late start on the hit with 2 outs.
  4. Our greatest need right now IMO is bullpen. I think it's shakey as it is with all those arms.
  5. At first they only go a couple of innings, as they are on pitch counts, and still are. Yesterday Milone threw 60, and May 45. Next time Milone will go to 75 and May to 60. May is one outing behind Milone now. Not much of a day off for those two yesterday, and I thought Perkins would throw too. No sign of him. Maybe today in the games at the minor league end.
  6. I think what we're seeing here is Molitors approach differing from Gardy's. Molly talks to these guys and I would imagine explained his reasoning. He most likely wants to see more of those left to have a better handle on who to take north. In the same time those sent down will get more playing time there, and that word gets back to Molly too.
  7. I, of course, would like to see him alot sooner than Sept. More like May 1st, and playing full time at 3rd base.
  8. Sano too? Well TR said Sano would probably be in the next round of cuts. He needs playing time too and will get more innings down in camp. The sooner he shakes the rust, the better.
  9. Klaw must be a very smart man, or close to it. I have Plouffe as AAA guy.
  10. No one has concerns on Plouffe but me.
  11. Santana leads off with a double, scores, then Vargas picks up Plouffe who's hitting .083, with a 2 run homer! Nice start.
  12. I love this article. It's like you picked my brain! And as he says, situations dictate the approach. Take yesterday leading off, why not jack one if you can. But the day before he gets two hits to center and another to right center. If he can do that, and has confidence doing it, laying off trying to pull the ball all the time, his average has to climb. I can see a raise of .025 in his average this year, while not falling back in other areas. He does that and I might get on the extension train.
  13. I would list the stars just the opposite. I've been saying since last year Dozier has to use the entire field and raise his average. Today he did just that. I'm very encouraged. Giving up a couple of doubles and a single in 3 for Malone isn't much to write home about, but he did get out of trouble.
  14. Here comes the rain!
  15. Looks like Herrmann is getting his timing down.
  16. sO what happened, Hunter gets a hit with 2 on and an out is recorded. gameday is all messed up
  17. As far as yesterday's blunder, there was 2 outs and Hicks on first. He didn't run on Escobar's fly out. He went half way and stopped, thinking there was only one out, as the scoreboard showed. No excuse though, he should have known.
  18. This is the City of Palms. Palms out everywhere for your money. I know they are taking money at 9, not sure what time they start though. On game days alot of people walk from the shopping center on Plantation, parking in what was the old Sweet Bay lot. Just head south off Daniels on Plantation and take the first left and wind into the lot. It's not a far walk from there.
  19. That's right, and that's part of can't hack it. Hopefully he'll stay healthy, as all the team, but we know injuries always happen. If this was the season now he'd of been out going on a week.
  20. I really wouldn't mind seeing that either. Nolasco and Milone do nothing for me. I give Pelfrey value though.
  21. Why? Pelfrey has as much right to compete for the spot as anyone else. He actually might be the best option, IMO. I was concerned about Perkins last year and he really fell off later in the season. I'm still concerned. If he can't hack it as a closer with success, a move has to be made. To have a good season we don't need to many blown saves. Fein certainly isn't the one, he may not even be around long, as we've probably seen his best days. As mentioned, maybe Oliveros, or maybe Duensing, I have no idea. But I don't want to see a bunch of games lost in the 9th.
  22. Saw Seth, but didn't see you, and not many people around today. FB, hey? I'll have to look him up.
  23. Tied at 1 after 9. Let's play ten.....
