  1. But the reason she has the popular vote (part of the reason anyway) is because of those voting laws and closed primaries. In New York, voters had to register by October 9th. Before the first Dem debate even. Its pretty archaic.
  2. Dozier has already made several orbits around a ~.750 mean. Why shouldn't we expect him to do it again this time? The complete lack of any peripherals suggesting his slump is permanent this time is why I'm shrugging about it, personally.
  3. Does consistency even matter?
  4. My thought is, I'd be willing to adopt one prospect, not 12-13.
  5. DUMPSTER FIRE? NO! THAT'S AN INDUSTRIAL GARBAGE BURNER BEHIND THE LEFT FIELD WALL!
  6. Did Arcia forget which hand his glove is on?
  7. Reason # 12 to hate Ryan Braun- the Garciaparra-esqua rituals performed after. every. pitch.
  8. And Suzuki with a double! That's the heart of the order man!
  9. Exactly, Suzuki and Milone were due up next.
  10. I wonder if a pitcher has ever willed a foul tip into the umpire's mask.
  11. Screw that, put him in left tomorrow!
  12. Ha. I take it you're subscribed to Arcia's Instagram too?
  13. Front row of a Steve Miller band concert?
  14. Goddammit Dozier don't you read TD!
  15. "All Hamm's Brands are now brewed by the Miller Brewing Company of Milwaukee, Wisconsin."

  18. Speaking of which I hear the door is gonna be closed on the Brewers' greenhouse today. Rain. Hope there are enough fans in attendance to drown out the patter patter.
  19. "Champagne of beers." I rest my case.
  20. This is all that needs to be said about Brian Dozier.
  21. Actually he's not even 29 yet. B-day on May 15.
  22. A legit concern but he is 29 so I'm highly dubious this is the end of Brian Dozier the power hitter as we know it. And pull-power, after all, is what turned him from organizational depth guy into MLB all star. He should keep doing it until the batted ball data says he no longer has the bat speed for it, then maybe you think about slapping singles middle-way. IMO.
  23. I'm reserving necro rights on this thread. All the "Dozier needs to stop pulling the ball" posts are going to look silly when he has 10-15 HRs and a .800 OPS by the AS break.
