    Simple and direct....Progress I would like to see this year, is filling some holes long term. Finally making choices on wether or not certain kids are going to contribute to winning .(Parm,Plouffe,Worley,Gibson,Diamond Colabello, Mastroianni and Florimon) and adding more magic beans to the system.Last year they added a pair in May and Meyer, but this year nothing....As for successful? Only 2 teams will be successful, and 1 team will have tears in there beer, and the other will shower in champain.... Go Twins

    1 the Yankees built a core group 2 they held there management accountible 3 they added top tier and lower tier free agents to suppliment there core group.... 4 there ownership expects to win every year, not just when the stars line up every 55 years

    Me making assumptions? didnt I say a young guy to grow up with the team? Well guess what, right now today , we aint got much of a team...when the 1st and 2nd wave of kids get here we will start to have something, so maybe 2014 -2016 he is ready , and that is when we will see most of our kids here , so I would make the assumtion that would be growing up with the team. As for Drew , not sure he will hit enough to make up for the defensive ability of florimon, and Me likes having the 2nd round pick this year(41-46th), hopefully our last drafing in the top 3rd of the draft, but if you believe the experts we have at least another year of losing 90+ games

    I take Baker over Pelfrey..yup, at least we dont wait 4.37 minutes between pitches, even if we only get 27 starts instead of 32

    Fangraph has the Twins rotation listed as the 28th of 30 rotations... I would gladly take Seattle rotation over our current rotation any day, and if your honest, most here would also

    ok so wich reliever do we dump to open a space for Matt? yes there is nothing wrong with this signing, but its tje combined total signings that make this 1 , a bad deal...it brings nothing to the future...adds no piece to the puzzle of a championship

    Ok then let me point out the Major leaque contracts.... Nolasco last 4 years has an ERA over 4.50 in 3 of 4 years,career 4.37 Hughes last season 5.19, yes he had an ERA of 4.19 in 2 of the last 4 , but is all HOPE Pelfrey last season 5.19 ERA, and a career 4.48 ERA Suzuki .235 AVG. over the last 4 years..... then lets add former twins who best days are past and who will take minor leaque deals. and this is what we are suppose to applaud? really REALLY?

    With Texas looking to sign Bruce Chen , maybe offer up 1 of our AAAA lefties Diamond ,Johnson,Gilmartin , for Sardinas.It might also take 1 of our 14-25 prospects as well. Next sign Jimenez , Not Santana , 4/50-52 or Hammel on a 2/18 , then trade Worley and May to baltimore for Johnny Monell and a 10-20 prospect, next trade Correia and Bard to Huston for Stassi and LHP Hader (A ball)Sign both Yenier Bello and Diaz.

    Sano was what 19-20 years old playing against guys who are generally 2-3 years older? Most player find the jump from A ball to AA the hardest, Im guessing his elbow was already bothering him by that time. Did he struggle ? Yup sure did, does every player at some time in there career struggle? Yup sure do, do I think we should release him? Heck no, Im guessing he will come back to AA and show what he can do healthy and fresh and all of this will be for not.Relax he was bumped down 11 spots on 1 list and yes there was some reasons for it, but that doesnt mean he should retire....
