  1. Dear Lord let's hope not, Twins need to win , not be a AAA learning arena.
  2. Baldelli throws the bones.
  3. With his batting average , why?
  4. Sano' current fielding numbers are not bad; if you are going to use that standard, then Jeffers is the one hurting compared to Sanchez.
  5. That is how you build a rookies faith in himself, not by taking him out .
  6. Jeffers batting average, fielding skills does.
  7. Only the obtuse believe in luck.
  8. There is not such thing as bad luck, one makes one's own luck. If one is "stinging" the ball where they are standing , try stinging it where they are not standing.
  9. Looking at numbers from last year, it would be nice to have Cron and Schoop on the team. Polanco at 2nd is good, but Cron at First would be nice .
  10. I said in a different thread, where we were on the 24th would be a indicator of how the Twins will do. I stand by that, that at worst, the Twins will be no more than 2 games under .500 at the seasons end. If the Twins can bring in a Left Fielder that can field and hit better than current ones, things will get better sooner rather than later.
  11. Send Larnach down and bring Fisher up , see how he does in the Minors. Fisher is hitting more Home Runs in the Minors now than Cave. It could act as a jolt of reality, although I doubt Larnach will ever be better than he is now.
  12. Maybe he would willingly go back to Single A ball for some instruction on how to hit ?
  13. Assuming Arraez would not waste his second big chance, maybe not.
  14. Could end up being Celestinos day to win the game.
  15. Well Chief I screwed that one up, it should have been inf-front, oh well.
  16. They should not have Arraez playing behind any batter, which is probably the whole team that is faster on the base paths than he is. Back when the Twins scored the first run , they should have two runs the way it was but Arreaz is probably slower on the paths than La Tortuga was.
  17. That is what high Minors and Spring Training is for; blaming the Virus for any thing is bogus, they either have talent, or they do not, simple as that.
  18. Mediocre to lousy rookies, brilliant.?
  19. Bring some one up from the Minors who has played in a Major league game before, plus has a stronger arm than Larnach. Larnach's throw was at least 10 feet in front of home plate.
  20. Does that mean those batters are not Major league quality?
  21. Who? That would give a horrible handi-cap at Third Base.
