  1. Today's at BatsFull Player Profile 2nd: Jeffers struck out swinging. 4th: Jeffers struck out swinging. 6th: Jeffers struck out swinging. 7th: Jeffers struck out swinging.
  2. Jeffers is not a good catcher, period and has no bat to make up the difference.
  3. Dozier and Rosario used to thrive on first pitch hits, but from this game, it seems, both teams, that they did not hit first pitches that were right down the pipe, some times same for second pitch.
  4. In his few at bats he has had 6K, 6BB and scored 4 runs; not sure why he is not doing better but they would do better to send Jeffers down for batting practice rather than send Garlick down. He is far better Left Fielder than Larnach who seems to be headed for DH, more often.
  5. I will agree that Simmons made some incredible plays BUT seem to fall asleep at times on simple ground balls. You could tell by his reactions he knew full well he had dorked those plays.
  6. Yep, and I was pooh-poohed last year for saying defense was what Twins needed more than a good bat. It would be nice if Correa gets bat going full time but his defense makes his price a fair deal.
  7. Celestino raised his Batting Average, good for him.
  8. Ya have to feel bad for Kubal; now he knows how some Twins pitchers felt last year.
  9. Larnach's good fortune worked well that time; Baez looks hurt., except why did he not go to third?
  10. Quick inning , I will not complain.
  11. Second day in a row , the Minor League eligible boys are showing the old pros how to do it.
  12. Celestino;s speed pays off, benching him will not let him develope.
  13. I think team atmosphere (being semi-father for Sano) has a lot to do with his drop, he dropped the instant he left Minnesota.
  14. It happened once before but they cannot send him down any more.
  15. Your evidence he not first; oh yes, it's on the net, it must be true,?
  16. Five days from now, will be a much better indication.
  17. Twins need a better first line catcher; Sanchez has not played enough so we do not know how good he is here. Jeffers so far, is not a Major league catcher.
  18. It is on the internet, it has to be true!?
  19. Larnach did not do a head first slide, good for him.
  20. The boys who are in danger of heading back to the minors are trying to make sure it does not happen ; why do the put Arraez where he is at, put him where he can drive in a run, not where he would plug up the bases for a speeder.
  21. Falef, well, you asked but that post had nothing to do with him, but his BA of .296 a good bit better than Correa's .179; as far as fielding Simmons( who in the post I responded to, the poster seems to be addicted to trashing) has 4 Gold Gloves at Short Stop, Falefa has one at Third and one at Short Stop, Correa has one at SS, so time will tell who is best this year.
