    Should , these are the teams we SHOULD beat , how many times have we not beat teams like this ... Twins go against a lefthander , they haven't done well against lefthanders this year ... Did white Sox play Colorado this year yet , if so how did they do ( last years worst team againstthis years worst ) ,

    Who knows what the FO will do ... They've stood pat for way to long and all that has gotten us is inconsistency from the lineup ... Yes they should trade some expiring contracts And maybe have some money to add back , tweaking could help , it can't hurt ... Lineup has been inconsistent since late last July , don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining ...

    Who really knows what the FO will do , so it's a surprise if they do and it's a surprise if they don't ... I'm really tired of hearing that our FO follows the Tampa and Cleveland blue print ... I like leaders , not followers , to be a leader you have to be creative and initiate your own procedures to out smart your opponent to be winners ... Our FO lacks the skills to be a leader , got to know when to hold them and know when to fold them and they haven't shown me any of that in their tenure ...

    You praise him up and then rip him down , might not hit consistently but the power is real , power is 30 homers or more a season ... If he is blocked at first base and the cubs believed he could hit well , they would find some spot in the lineup like DHing ... No thanks , sounds like an over pay to me and remember we already have a line up full on non-consistent hitters ... And also we are sellers and we are not the ones that should be over paying ...

    I concur trade from your strengths to fill your weaknesses , all I know is that the FO repeatedly has said they like this core and hasn't done any real trading at the deadline since 2022 , they shouldn't have either , they should have waited till 2023 deadline because we were a much better team , but they didn't...

    I watch the game , is it the same as it once was , no it is not , players used to put on a show for the fans , it seems for the past decade or so the players put on a show for themselves ( correct me if im wrong ) ... I used to like going to the games and punching out the ballots , now we have to go online to do it , it just doesn't feel like your participating in that part of game ( correct me if im wrong ) I watch it because of quality pitching , alot of the pitchers in 2025 Allstar game were number 1 draft choices and are very good pitchers , a few weren't but they performed well ( ryan experience ) ... drafting pitchers in round 1 doesn't always work out but there was plenty of them tonight on both sides ... Usually the games have been low scoring and the pitchers dominate , national league went up 6-0 by hitting a couple of pitchers and American league came back against a couple of pitchers and tied it in the ninth ( good game pitching , hitting and defense ) , it ended in a tie ... but won by the swing off so on record the national league won it ... I watch it because I have a passion for baseball ... Thanks Mike , the allstar game can be boring , but tonights game wasn't ... If wallner was in the allstar game he would have been taping his hat for sure ...

    Was a weak draft in my opinion , but yes I'm satisfied with the first 4 picks on Day one ... There could be sleepers in the next 17 picks , that's up to coaches to develop the talent to find that diamond in the ruff .... We've been spoiled with some recent good good drafts the past 3 years ... Why no catcher drafted is an interesting observation , do we possibly get that mlb ready catcher in a deadline trade , I really don't know if I want rushing the dodger catcher / leftfielder , from what I've heard , his defense at catcher needs work , can we or do we want to fix that ...

    The perception of alot these drafted players is basically how they did in 2025 high school and college ... I sure hope the draft yesterday that those drafted through 3 rounds showed consistent improvements each year and consistency is the key word ... I'm sure they've all been followed by scouts for some years But these later rounds they may be picking because of signability or speculation on future development and had a good year only in 2025 to raise there draft stock ...

    His father was a leftfielder , if he's not projected to stick on the dirt , don't hesitate, play him right away in outfield , don't wait until he arrives in the mlb ... That's my grief with this current development of players , they try to make a player he hasn't been in the minors at the major league level adding to much pressure to the player ...
