  1. He reminds me of Deduno. He's not really that great, but he's interesting and the exact opposite of every other player on this roster so we want to keep him just because he is different.
  2. It's probably why the 2001-2003 Twins are my favorite squad ever. A.J., Doug, Guardado, and Hawkins were not the most talented group by I don't think anyone wanted it more than them. Add in a talented Torii, who also had an outgoing personality, and it was truly fun watching those teams.
  3. He is a guy that is easy to root for and I wish we hadn't suffered through five months of Bobby Wilson for it.
  4. Yes, it's all over the league and it's ridiculous. I think signing guys like Yelich and Cain and trading for Moustakas and Schoop is what we would strive to be. Their pitching is still horse **** and they probably won't even make the playoffs.
  5. It's about time for Terry to ride in on his white horse again to whittle payroll.
  6. It's not respecting the game to continue trying when you're up a million.
  7. My favorite part of the game was where Texas tagged up on a fly ball to the warning track in the eighth inning and Dick grumbles, "You can bet that the Twins dugout took note of that."
  8. Despite having 13 man pitching staffs for the first five months and 37 in September they still need to go to their back up catcher every other month,
  9. I imagine much like watching with my father, who is often dozing in his rocking chair by the commercial break between the open and the top of the first. Every 2-3 innings he'll wake up and look at the score and say, "This horse **** again!" and immediately go back to sleep.
  10. What has Molitor done at an average to above average rate? I can think of nothing; therefore I give him an F.
  11. That these three are among the highlights of the season says everything you need to know about how 2018 has gone.
  12. Dear God. I don't have much hope for this to work out based on his history, our history, and everything in between.
  13. I'm resigned to it. The only way it doesn't happen is if he completely collapses or some internal player magically morphs into Scherzer.
  14. I haven't seen a dismantling as fast as this from a team that "went for it" during the offseason since the Marlins dumped Reyes, Buehrle, etc.
  15. The pessimism regarding his trade value is completely based on two years ago when we couldn't get anything for him coming off his best season.
  16. I was at this series and it was one of the most disgusting displays of baseball I've seen in person. Just complete apathy against a team that will lose 110 games. This team takes the worst at bats I've ever seen. Sadly, Bobby Wilson following pitches off in several at bats before weak ground balls to short was the offensive highlight.
  17. I like that Astudillo has now pitched, played center, and played second more than he's caught.
  18. Kapler got crucified for his first couple weeks in Philly. He adapted by allowing his starters a little more leeway and suddenly they are a better ballclub. I haven't seen Molitor adapt or change anything since he's been here.
  19. My guess is that starters would then go four innings and another five guys would clean up the last three innings.
  20. This is the most uninspiring team I've ever watched from the top down. I typically only watch Berrios starts because every other game usually elicits nothing but disgust and I am a far happier and healthier person not watching this team. My next step will be to stop looking at the boxscore.
  21. He can be joined by about 20 other teammates as far as I'm concerned.
  22. Final beer sales first time through the lineup?
  23. Far more kind and concise than the rant I have started and stopped three times.
