  1. More fabrication by the good doctor. " they were forced to play at positions that would keep aggravating their injuries" Forced how? Did Rocco or Falvey or anyone put a gun to their heads? How exactly were they FORCED? Do you have any idea how much liability the Twins would have if this were true? Every time I see the Dr. post about this subject. I think of the 2 young boys and the shark fin in Jaws. "He made me do it"
  2. BS. Every team has players that they developed. Agree that FA make up a smaller segment of WAR on a given team. But thats not what you were implying. Let me ask. Are you a lawyer or a politician?
  3. OK. Have another tequila
  4. And it shows you didn't read my post. It clearly says. JEFFERS ISNT GOOD 6 errors in a year vs 2 errors in 1 game
  5. You like to pick and choose your favorites. Gaspar has caught how many games? Tonight alone he's made 3 mistakes. Jeffers isn't good, but he's a helluva lot better than Gaspar. Nice play by Lewis. Another of your whipping boys
  6. Why. When you have to get 5 outs because of the defense. Its not all on him
  7. I agree. And yet we constantly hear about how he's a heads up player because his dad is a coach.
  8. Gasper hasn't caught enough games for that to be the reason teams run on the Twins. But I agree with the last part
  9. Really? Thats how you justify your comment which you pull out 10 times a year. Your statement implies that prospects like Keaschal who started the year in milb account for 80% of a teams WAR because they're small or mid market teams that can't afford free agents. So when the Twins acquired Joe Ryan as a prospect you can count his WAR for his 1st season. Thats it. You're counting every year after that when the prospect status no longer applies
  10. Show me 1 team where 80% of their WAR is attributed to prospects.
  11. And what were the circumstances? Guys or teams gearing up for the playoffs? Younger guys who they want to limit their innings. Don't just throw out some blanket statement to defend your beloved Rocco
  12. Which of those 8 bullpen arms are set? Sands? Topa? High ceiling arms. They're not ready now, but they'll be ready in 26. Falvey has said for the past 3 or 4 years that the bullpen isn't an issue 🤔
  13. So where is the next 1b 2b 3b SS C in this system thats so strong. I'll give you the OF .may be covered. Maybe. No matter how highly ranked. That is all just speculation and hope. Until proven otherwise
  14. Castros versatility was overrated. You could put him all over the diamond. Which position did he excel at? He made bad mistakes as well. So since he's gone, Martin is the comparison. Castro was good on the bases in 23. He had his share of gaffes too.
  15. I don't know everything that goes on behind the scenes. But I do get tidbits. And share as much as possible. Its sort of like the comments about guys mailing it in or not trying. If a player no longer cares or doesn't show effort, they wont be around long.. Jax outburst before the deadline is a good example. After a few decisions, whether right or wrong. A person can and will say things they regret later on. Joe Ryan saw what happened to guys he had relations with dealt away. He wants to battle and win every time out. When a player sees and knows it's all about the Benjamins one can easily get jaded. Trevor is another example. I see posts all the time about him. How he's coming on because he needs to just to be considered in regards to his future. That is the most ridiculous thing of all. A player who signs for big money has that luxury. Most players fight 100% EVERY DAY just to stay a part of MLB.
  16. I mentioned it last year and got told I was wrong. 😄 In fact I also pointed it out after the Correa trade. And was told, wrong again. 😂
  17. Fabrication? How about delusional on your part that you have no idea how much work it takes to be a MLB catcher (neither do I, but it seems that I have a much better understanding than you). In Rutschman's 1st 3 years in the MLB, he caught 329 games, (not including DHing), you don't see even veterans catch that many games these days. (They don't because too many catchers wear down & land on the IL). For reference, many have said that Jeffers is a primary catcher. In his 6 yrs he has caught 420 games. The Twins have pretty much done even Steven at the C position for many years. Simply because they haven't had a really good one offensively and defensively. If Jeffers or Vasquez were head and shoulders over the other they would catch the majority of the games. Delusional. Check that mirror. 😄
  18. Fabrication? How about delusional on your part that you have no idea how much work it takes to be a MLB catcher (neither do I, but it seems that I have a much better understanding than you). (They don't because too many catchers wear down & land on the IL). For reference, many have said that Jeffers is a primary catcher. In his 6 yrs he has caught 420 games. How many games has Raleigh caught this year? 110 games per year is NOT overload. Thats just the new accepted perception
  19. Total fabrication again. How was Rutschman overloaded? As compared to who? Jeffers and Vasquez? How many games has he avg at catcher? Who's the Twins 2nd best hitter? Gaspar or Julien?
  20. The new Peter mantra. New guys. Got it.
  21. Hopefully Peter can come up with a new gimmick next year. Big cities always win and the living arrangements at Target Field and all the stadiums they live at while on the road. Maybe with the savings from dumping Larnach and Jeffers they can stay at Motel 6. They leave the lights on.
