  1. Apple TV guys highlighted Twins bullpen ERA and being 30th ranked bullpen in MLB and doing almost nothing to address in offseason. Not sure if this is true or not, but they also said of the Twins losses this season including last night the Twins have 23 losses this season where in the 8th inning they either lead by 1 run or were down 1 run or tied. That is a direct correlation of the bullpen decisions made by front office and field staff. Being dead last in baseball in bullpen ERA shows the Twins are not putting their best foot forward on bullpen pitching or defense. Last trade deadline was a big FU to the fans by Pohlad ownership for attendance, especially the Varland trade.
  2. Keaschall had a shoulder injury at one point. I think somewhat like Ben Revere. I think that limits him to infield work at 2nd and 1st base.
  3. 100% agree that Gray needs to go, but a demotion for Luke Keaschall should happen first as an order of business. He needs to focus on fielding and throwing, then come back in 2 to 3 weeks after refining his defense.
  4. Twins defense really let the team down tonight. Prielipp should not have pitched the 6th inning., Adam's should not have pitched 8th.
  5. This is actually one of the few games this season, where I would say the managers deciisions effected the outcome of the gane. Well that and the shoddy defense.
  6. Bad choice to leave Adam's in, this manager makes some puzzling decisions at times. Adam's was already near 40 pitches. Should have pulled him with 1st and 2nd on.
  7. Jackson ran for Caratini. Lee now at SS, Lewis at 3rd, Clemens at 1st.
  8. Luke Keaschall is a very average defender. Surprised Adam's was not replaced this inning.
  9. Tristan Gray is ass at the plate right now. The league has figured him out. There is a reason he never hooked on anywhere else for any length of time. Gray is a 4A player.
  10. Lewis is better than Lee at third base. Lee should be the one playing 2nd base and Keaschall should be with the Saints, with Clemens back at 1st base. Kriedler at short, and Gray for option to minors or dfa.
  11. Tristan Gray sucks,! He's mediocre short stop.
  12. Is Diaw a candidate to skip AAA and jump from AA to MLB? This is assuming Twins don't extend Ryan Jeffers, and trade him at the deadline, and that they would try and flip one of Caratinni or Alex Jackson. That is probably the only scenario I would see Diaw skipping AAA. Well that and the AAa catcher that was raking is hurt. Polanco is the last Twin I can remember that skipped a level. Catcher is a premium position. Seems l8ke Diaw should be on our radar as a rising prospect for the Twins. I think teams will be looking for catching at trade deadline, as a premium, hopefully Jeffers is healthy by then. I wanted to keep Jeffers, but he may be in strong demand at deadline, decent catcher, good hitter.
  13. Time for Houston to move to AA, should serm obvious he needs the challenge.
  14. Who is coming up for Lawrence or Travis ,Adam's, because neither one of them should be going to Arlington Texas?
  15. Kriedler went back to the bag on that play, Buck was almost to third with Kriedler in a tag up position, so I would say on that one, it was Kriedler that didn't get the good read on the play. Didn't matter in the end.
  16. Twins need a few changes to the roster. Hopefully people start getting healthy.
  17. Time to cut Lawrence, bring up a triple AAA pitcher. Saints took Culpepper out in the 5th inning tonight. Wonder if he is being called up to the show. DFA'ing Lawrenc seems like a no-brainer decision after today's game. Wonder if Twins will option Keaschall or cut one of the three Utility players?.
  18. I would rather have tried Paddack, this Lawrence has an over 6 ERA, and Twins need have Lawrencw hit th DFA list asap, before Shelton tries to use him again.
  19. Lawrence is cooked, no idea what the Twins see in him. He cannot command his pitches, and at his age, he isn't gonna learn command.
  20. It is time to bring up Culpepper at SS and let him play.
