Duran has become the Lopez of the pen. The expectation is there for excellence, but he just can't live up to the consistent performance. And it seems so many, not just the Phillies, make contact against him now. Even his high speed fastballs. Rarely does he have a clean inning. Someone always seems to make contact, if not all the hitters.
We had the same opportunity, and we gave it to Jeffers, and the Phillies had Marsh. Damn. These last 3 series have been telling for being able to perform in close games. We were really rolling before Reese, Correa, and Miranda all went out at the same time. Plan Bs just can't quite do it.
