A fan that calls his own team Twinkies and Twinks? Regardless of what they do, I never get that. But to each their own. Certainly a fan has that right. Sometimes our Twins may play like that, and I have heard apologists of the usage as claiming it is endearing, but it just feels playground abuse disrespectful to me. “Please don’t call them Twinkies”

So sick of 0-0 count insignificant results challenges. Such a waste of a challenge with nothing to really gain. Even 0-1 count. All ego for batter. Regarding the very significant pitch that was miscalled a ball to Delgado and neither Caratini nor Ryan challenged, (in Ryan’s previous start) and in others defense of Caratini they pointed bout Ryan could have challenged, too — it was pointed out by the announcer today tha Shelton has laid down the law that he never what’s his pitchers to challenge. So clearly Ryan and the other pitchers are honoring that.

Shelton “We been getting the big hit all year……” Really? Does he really think that?

Nothing a little bases clearing double with the bases loaded and 2 outs and 3 runs behind in the 8th wouldn’t cure !

How many long losing streaks have we helped end this year? Seems like a lot.

Such consternation over Fedko playing time.

If one doesn’t appreciate the incredible feat that was, the talent it took, and how artfully it was accomplished ….. I see how the focus on mundane societal arrest can be arrived at. They didn’t harm anyone and pulled it off flawlessly. Pretty damn impressive performance art.

Warning track force field for both teams.

Good throw by Keaschall. That’s encouraging.

Awesome tag on that crummy throw to second by Gray.

I wonder if you can see the game from the top of the Empire State Building antenna?

I always feel like if you ever get lucky and actually get a clean inning from Funderburk, you should count your blessings and not push your luck.

The zone seems to be more and more confusing as the game goes on. How about that first pitch take by Keashall?

It’s like Lewis didn’t believe the ump would call that a strike (and it was) even though he just did.

    This plate ump is horrible.

The convergence/ communication on these Texas leaguers sure remains sketchy.

Just over half the season over, and you sit 2.5 games out of a wildcard, and 4 back of division lead. Now is NOT the time to get rid of your most productive players for prospects you won’t see for years, if ever, or rely on unproven prospects in AAA in mass. They will trickle up with injuries, or be injured themselves before or after promotions. But some preach that all the time.
