His comp for himself is Elly De La Cruz. That would be sweet. I suspect he ends up at 3B though.

If they go college RHP at 16, I think I would prefer Gage Wood to Bremner.

    Any Payton Eeles update?

Good stuff Seth, how about a thread on the hardest throwers in the system?

Nice to see Aaron Sabato swinging well. Question for those in the know, what type of prospect is John Stankiewicz? He seems to put up decent stats wherever he pitches.

How good is Yunior Severino in the field?

    Big kid. I like it.

So happy they went with one of the consensus top 5. I was worried!

I don't get the whole drafting of college relief pitchers and converting them to starters thing. College coaches aren't stupid, they've got these guys in the bullpen for a reason. Has that ever worked for the Twins?

How long before Bryant is in Chicago? September?

Max Murphy has been a pleasant surprise. He could surprise some people.

Happy for Pino, he deserves a shot. Make an impression Yohan!

I found this nugget from Derek Wetmore interesting, "Ryan said he'd like to draft a lot of left-handed pitching". Perhaps there is something to the recent Sean Newcomb steam. At the very least, I'm guessing they rank Newcomb over Nola. http://www.1500espn.com/sportswire/Report_No_question_Terry_Ryan_will_return_to_GM_post_this_season060214

Did anyone watch Nola last night? Sounds like another solid outing. http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2014/06/lsus_aaron_nola_shuts_up_houst.html

Ugh, I wouldn't be a fan of that. 5th pick overall is too high for that IMO, stick with BPA.

Could he be short term answer at CF? Until Buxton is ready? Mike Berardino ‏@MikeBerardino Danny Santana is going to work more in center during BP today. Gardy says he could be an option if Hicks continues to struggle.

No Twins offer? I'm shocked I tell you, just shocked. Yes, that's my attempt at sarcasm. I hope they're not done for the offseason though, they've still got plenty of room for improvement.
  18. Einstein
Agree completely, they should be building around that core not subtracting from it.

Hawkins to the Rockies. LaTroy Hawkins agrees to one year, 2.5 million deal with the #Rockies to be their closer — Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) November 19, 2013

Good move, I don't see much downside.

The lineup the Twins are fielding at this point is pretty embarrassing. I wouldn't discount that 100 loss possibility just yet.
  22. Einstein
Wow, TR really wanted to dump Morneau.
  23. Einstein
This is great, I live in Scottsdale, I can't wait to see these guys!
  24. Einstein
What's the deal with Tim Atherton? He seems kind of old for low A but he's having some success. What kind of stuff does he have?
  25. Einstein
I don't have much confidence that TR will make any meaningful trades this offseason. He's waiting on the kids at this point.
