  2. It was far more subdued than you might have though, but yes, still Bremering.
  3. Damn, a grand slam would have been amazing there!
  4. As far as you know. #MolitorIsTheScrantonStrangler
  5. Good article, but I'm a little miffed at (homer warning!) no mention of Joe Mauer. Post all-star break, he's hitting .331, he's OPSing .867, and his OPS+ sits at a pretty damn stellar 134. In fact, he's been pretty close to those numbers since his slow start ended around the end of April. Since May 1st, he's hitting .319, he's OPSing .851, and his OPS+ is 129. Guess Buxton isn't the only one who overcame a cold start. This is getting close to vintage Joe, and I for one am excited to see it.
  6. Yeah, I have to believe that rule is not for actual free agent deals (spycake? Help us out?) If he hits the "free market," which shouldn't actually be too free because the Twins would have the most interest in signing him and presumably he'd be most interested in staying with the Twins, he can sign for whatever amount he wants. Though if this renaissance continues, I doubt it'll be the few million that some here have suggested. But that's probably a story for another day...
  7. The hottest of hot takes! I say we don't just DFA him. I say we nuke him!
  8. You know a great way to have a better first baseman than other teams? Move Sano over. Of course then you've made third base worse by more than you've made first base better. But hey, then we can compare our first baseman to other teams' first basemen and feel warm and fuzzy while we lose more games. Outside of a world where you can just go get the Mike Trouts and Bryce Harpers of the world tomorrow and with no limitations, comparing players position by position across the league seems a little stupid because teams win as teams. You can maximize a position or you can maximize a team. Sometimes those are in direct opposition because there simply aren't enough superstars to go around.
  9. /s You dropped this...
  10. So tell us! Fill us in! What's the scoop? Do you have a power serve game? Play the net? One-handed or two-handed backhand?
  11. And for when, not if, that gets deleted: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Anthony+Recker%27s+Butt

  13. Maybe they can back some of that early season road magic.
  14. I agree. That ball was not hit well at all.
  15. Well that's one way to walk it off.
  16. And I'm done with the Sano weight thing. There's a game on.
  17. Which literally nobody has said. You seem to be asserting that the weight is the only thing that matters. In my opinion, there are lots of explanations that are equally or more reasonable, going all the way back to diagnosis.
  18. Not to harp on this too much because it's a very boring topic in my opinion, but you didn't address the part I bolded. Yes, they miss him. But how is his weight impeding his recovery?
  19. He's still within the window that they said the recovery would take. Where is this even coming from?
