    Trevor Bauer hasn’t pitched in an MLB game in nearly three calendar years. It’s highly unlikely that he would come in and suddenly be the same pitcher he was years ago.

    The NFC East hasn’t had a repeat champion in two decades. The Cowboys won it last year, the Giants are locked into one of the worst contracts in the NFL (Daniel Jones) and Washington is in a complete rebuild. All signs seem to point to Philly winning the division next year.

    Mike McCarthy should and will not be the Cowboys’ head coach tomorrow. That was a mortifying performance in all three phases.

    The 49ers are not nearly the same team without Trent Williams or Deebo Samuel, both of whom were inactive Week 7. Additionally, Brock Purdy was concussed in the fourth quarter, which had to be at least a contributing factor to his boneheaded interceptions. The level of red zone ineptitude exhibited by the Vikings in that game (1st & Goal inside the 5-yard line twice and settling for field goals both times) is not sustainable and would be exploited in the postseason. We can point at certain gaffes and miscues and say, "If we didn't ____, we would have won," but there comes a point where they are not an aberration rather a damning flaw. Teams don't win Super Bowls making mistakes like those the Vikings have made this season, and they've been making them consistently throughout the season.

    I expected them to win fewer than three playoff games. They won three playoff games, therefore, they surpassed my expectations. It was a disappointing ending, no doubt about it, but a step in the right direction for the Twins.

In the segment, Falvey shared some of his objectives for improving the team at the upcoming trade deadline. According to Falvey, he intends to "fortify the middle of" the bullpen. Falvey also mentioned they would like to add another right-handed bat to the Twins' lefty-dominated lineup. A link to a twitter post containing the audio is included below.     Can you imagine if baseball was played in the jungle? It sounds interesting, but it unfortunately would never work—there are too many cheetahs.
