  1. In a season in which our Minnesota Twins have shown maddening flaws, instilling feelings of doubt in many throughout Twins territory, we find ourselves once again discussing whether or not the current front office and/or manager deserve another chance to turn the organization around. The procedure of replacing them has two halves. Dismissing them is the simple half, and many have called for it. However, identifying and hiring a worthy replacement(s) is the other half—the difficult half. For this thread, I ask the following questions. How hot should the seats of the front office and/or the manager be? What are the qualifications of a worthy replacement(s) for the front office and/or manager should those currently in charge be dismissed? Describe them. Are there any other items to note that are relevant to this discussion?
  2. Oh, whoops, I didn't know that. I'm following the game on MLB Gameday, so I didn't see the play.
  3. Situations like these are why we paid Correa the big bucks.
  4. Not quite, but I'm pleased with the outcome.
  5. Edouard Julien will hit a home run here.
  6. Of course they can. They can also get worse, as we saw last year.
  7. The fact that his Baseball Savant percentile rankings chart looks like this is baffling.
  8. I highly doubt Diggs wants Cousins back, because let's be real here: Josh Allen stands head and shoulders above Cousins.
  9. Fun Fact: Rosario has amassed exactly 0.0 WAR in 51 plate appearances.
  10. Willi Castro, Matt Wallner, Alex Kirilloff, and Eduardo Julien combined for 11 hits and 9 RBI’s in one game. Wow.
  11. I highly doubt we'll get swept by both Chicago and Detroit. I doubt we lose to the Raiders. The Chargers are beatable as long as they have Staley. With Rodgers out of Green Bay I could see the Vikings beating them twice, especially given the game at Lambeau is in late October and not in January. Also I didn't know that we can lose a game during a bye week.
  12. Based on the leaks CBS has compiled. Week 1: vs. Buccaneers Week 2: at Eagles (TNF) Week 3: vs. Chargers Week 4: at Panthers Week 5: vs. Chiefs Week 6: at Bears Week 7: vs. 49ers (MNF) Week 8: at Packers Week 9: at Falcons Week 10: vs. Saints Week 11: at Broncos (SNF) Week 12: vs. Bears (MNF) Week 13: Bye Week Week 14: at Raiders Week 15: at Bengals (Flexible) Week 16: vs. Lions Week 17: vs. Packers (SNF) Week 18: at Lions
  13. I am at a loss. How does a major league baseball team **** up THIS of all things? https://www.mlb.com/app/atbat/video/jake-cronenworth-walks-fernando-tatis-jr-scores-throwing-error-by-catcher?partnerId=mlbapp-ios_video-playback-page_video-share
  14. I have no idea what the hell this team is. They're 6-4 combined this season against Houston and New York, yet they're 4-6 combined against Washington, Chicago, and Miami. Can someone explain this to me?
  15. This team’s offense is offensive.

  16. If Lopez amasses 9.2 total WAR over the next four years, or an average of 2.3 WAR per year, this contract will be worth it. He had 2.8 WAR last year and will only improve, as he is 27 years old. Never thought I would see the day. Not only did the Twins sign a starting pitcher to a major multi-year deal, but the deal itself was a hell of a good one.
  17. There wasn’t much that I took away from this one. The only minor thing that I took away is that the Twins offense could struggle until those currently on the injured list heal and produce.
