    I did forget the whipped cream and couldn't edit fast enough. This was a college thing .... many many years ago. For like 25 cents. But every once in awhile I recreate it.

    Do you ever have something that gets stuck in your outbox (in this case a plain e-mail, no attachments or photos) and no matter what you do you can't get it to move? I finally went to a different e-mail provider and sent it from that one. Too weird. Sent e-mails all day -- maybe it was just tired.

    Wow, I rarely frost brownies (too sweet) but always but in nuts.

    About the time the Angels scored. Actually I've had the game on the whole time .... I just didn't get it here cuz I had to get some work done.

    I'm LOVING it. I hate summer heat although this one was surprisingly pleasant.

    Well, I managed to come in for the Angels scoring outburst. BTW, the front is coming through here..... cooling off (and drying down) beautifully. Gonna be in the 50's tonight.

    You get to move here and go every day in the summer .... surrounded by all the kids.

    You know, sometimes living in a small town is a bit of a challenge (too much gossip, no restaurants, etc., etc.) but sometimes it is just amazing. Found out tonight that the local lawn mower/snowmobile dealer's family is donating a brand new $6,000 Clipper riding mower for our Swimming Pool Auction. We're now close to 150 items -- the generosity of people in this town is just amazing. And when they bid, they don't expect a "bargain" for a benefit. In fact most items go for more than face value.

    I've no problem with them trying to sign an elite pitcher. I just think that Anderson and Gardenhire need to be gone a month from now.

    If you are a legit top-of-the-rotation starter, are you willing to put your career in the hands of Rick Anderson and Ron Gardenhire? Think about it. It seems to have worked for Hughes this year but he was making a turnaround. Wouldn't you rather go somewhere that has shown success with elite pitchers?
