    Dozier is supposed to be available off the bench. Last year he had a similar tightness and missed 3 games (I think). Apparently his lower back doesn't like playing on artificial turf so its a good thing that the Twins have gotten back to nature.

    Interested to see Fryer ... Deduno's personal catcher is everyone but Suzuki. (That's not a rap on Zuk -- just the reality of unpredictable Sammy). So we have 2 bullfighters in Sanchez and Escobar? (Both from Maracay). Let's hope the one with the stick takes it to the one with the ball.

    Freep Tigers ‏@freeptigers 8m Tigers haven't lost 1-0 to Twins since '99, when they did so twice at Tiger Stadium. Ausmus was Tigers catcher in both games. Time to break that streak .... not that I would mind if the Tigers lost by more.

    None of the above??? I like TK for the limited number of games he does each season. I wouldn't really want him for more (and I don't think he wants to do more). Smalley and Morris don't really impress me but then, I'm tired of the Dick and Bert show, too. I think they need to rotate Provus over to TV play-by-play more often and send Bremer over to the radio more. Change it up for everybody. (And I don't think they've found Bert's permanent replacement yet).

    Mutt or purebred. We had the craziest Boston Terrier ever when I was in my teens. But overall, I love the breed -- good with kids, smart (at least my current one is too smart for my own good), affectionate. But we had mutts growing up as well and one of my most beloved dogs ever was a mutt. OTOH, while I've found goldens to be affectionate (lots of them around where I live), I just don't find them to be very bright. Kind of boring to me. So it just all depends on your personality, the size you want and the characteristics you want. And NOBODY should pick out your new baby but you!

    I thought Dombrowski did a good job of getting Miggy back to 1st B. Didn't seem like he was going to age all that well at 3rd.

    Glad to hear that. Even the vaccines scare me a little, though. My vet got a new partner (wife) and all of a sudden they became much more intent on profits, etc. and recommended a whole new regime with a wider variety of vaccines. My dog was so lethargic for 2 days afterward i thought I was going to have to take her in -- very scary. Since then, I insist on just the basics.

    Welcome to the board and hope to see you post more often! I'm very tired of Twins management as well and really feel like they need an infusion of new blood (or perhaps a full blood transfusion). But since life is fleeting, I'm also just trying to enjoy the team this summer. Taking it game by game and hoping that old management is just awaiting a return to respectability before a changing of the guard.
