Spare me the dramatics. It sucks, it really does, Trump is a vile piece of ****, and likely the worst POTUS we have seen in quite a long time, but it's America, we are a democracy and aren't a dictatorship, I disagree with a lot of my GOP brethren on a lot of issues, but the POTUS only has so much power, the more reasonable ones won't let Trump screw up things...to much, right? And the best part? We can vote his ass out in 4 years anyways!

Well....****. This sucks no doubt, but I have faith that things that after a few really ****ty months (up until Jan/Feb) next year, the country can eventually get back on track. Short term there is going to be some pains, but long term? We should be fine, in two years we take back the senate (and get close with the house) and in 4 years we get back the presidency. I feel really bad for the folks looking to retire in the next 2-3 years though

Nvidia is doing well these days, I don't see that momentum stopping any time in the near future, it would be by far my number one pick. CannaGrow Hldgs is one I bought two years ago when it was at 25 cents a share, I really didn't pay any attention and only bought it because a friend in Colorado told me to, but suddenly about 2-3 weeks ago it shot up to $1.50 then $2.50 and then $3.00 Was able to sell off 25% of the shares around $2.80, not a bad ROI and a good time to move that money into less volatile stock. Does anyone do any bitcoin trading? I bought a decent chunk when it was around $450 about 6 months ago, and then doubled up at $550 today it's at $680, anyone have any ideas on how high it will go over the next 3-6 months? I think if it hits $800 I may sell 15-20% off.

DickBert are fine, the hand wringing that goes over them is just so ridiculously over the top that it makes people look like a bunch of whiners. The problem with watching a Twins broadcast is that more often than not you are going to see a terrible product on the field the last 5 years. The 2016 Twins were a dumpster fire, the 1991 Twins were the exact opposite of that. Today marks the 25th anniversary of what was very likely the best game 7 in the best World Series of all time, share your thoughts below. -I was 6 years old and my Dad took me to game 7, I still remember it vividly and to this day remains by far my favorite sporting memory of all time. -Even now 25 years later it is still nerve racking to watch that game, so many ups and downs and so many missed chances by both teams. Eddie was given exactly ZERO to work with. It's miracle he pieced together a bullpen that did as "well" as it did the last two years.

Entire coaching staff with the exception of Eddie G should be fired. Bruno is terrible, Allen has zero success stories and Molitor is the worst manager this franchise has ever seen. Good riddance to the lot of them!

Well if Hillary wins and the Dems take the Senate (fivethirtyeight has them as a slight favorite) then I don't see how there would be too much gridlock. In fact, I think Hillary has been set up for a pretty good chance to get the public on her side because Obama has teed up a lot of things for her.

I think you are overestimating what his "core" or base will hold against him. I mean, Curz is a complete clown to the majority of us, but his refusal/reversal will hardly effect his standing within his Tea-Party base.

Oh it will be fun, people tend to be a little over-dramatic with elections. I really don't see Trump winning, but even if my some miracle he does win, it's not like the US falls into oblivion overnight, don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be great, or even good, but the POTUS in this country doesn't have nearly as much power as leaders in the majority of other countries. I have faith in the realistic/non crazy GOP/Dems (who will at least have the senate) to at least keep Trump from dooming us completely , this country has dealt with some very tough and trying times and we have always bounced back. But yeah, with that said, him winning would completely suck, go Clinton!

Another great game by Buxton. I'd wager that amongst all teams that lost 103+ games in a single season, nobody has as much "hope" for 2017 as do the Twins. Dozier, Buxton and Sano could be the best player at their respective positions next year. Kepler, Vargas, Polanco all appear to be potential above average/really good players in the making. Berrios, while a disappointment this year, could be a front end of the rotation pitcher soon, and if Ervin+Hughes channel their "good selves" the Twins rotation could creep close to just below league average (assuming Berrios steps up of course) I think we can all agree that OP was.....um.......hmmm....um....silly? In his proclamation of Buxton being a bust, but the Twins have been one of these weird teams where their top prospects either: Kick ass early and often (and continue to) See: Liriano, Mauer, Morneau, Sano or Bomb, and continue to bomb: See: Hicks, Ryan Johnson, Delmon Young (not a prospect but tons of expectation for a youngster) Other than Hunter there haven't been a lot of top prospects who struggled for a decent chunk, then became studs later on. But Buxton was always very young, and always showed the flashes that made you know he would figure it out eventually, and at worst if the bat didn't develop all the way he would be Mike Cameron or so. Now that the bat is coming around? The sky is truely the limit, he has legit 25-30 HR power already, which puts him at 35-40 HR power when he gets a few years older, oh and he plays the best D CF in baseball. Wow.
