    So the experts know nothing as well? Also plenty of "fans" know scouts and the like as well fwiw. God forbid someone criticize a pick that nearly every expert said was NOT the right choice for #1 pick.

    Well the Twins have been the worst overall team in baseball the last 6 years. It's not so much they think they personally are smarter than the Twins....just the other experts who are saying this is a bad pick...are in fact smarter then the Twins.

    The Twins have finished dead last in the division 5 out of 6 years. Traded away the ONE good first round pick they made the last decade not named Buxton (Hicks) and drafted guys like Michael, Wimmers, Gibson, Revere etc in the first round....they deserve all the mocking they get.

    Yup! Unreal. I don't really mind the Revere (especially) or Span trades because both netted a couple high upside SP But hicks, man that bothered me then and now. You don't give up a CF like that for a dude who is known to be a backup C at best.

    1-3 I think hicks has gotten hits in 27 of his last 32 games. On base in 30 of those.

    IALTO It was also against a terrible lineup. I would pump the breaks when it comes to Gibson imo.

    Yeah you can't "sell" if they are still in the hunt. However pitchers like Santana are worth a lot more at the deadline then in the off season. Especially this off season where their is a lot of good FA pitchers. Which in fact HURTS Santana's trade value at the deadline as well. Guess the best thing to do is have the twins win "the whole ****ing thing" as Tom berringer once famously said!
