  1. Pretty sure Banister has it in the bag, Yost in second. Molitor in 10th or so.
  2. Season over. **** molitor **** Ryan They should be ****ing ashamed of themselves.
  3. Molitor has no business being a major league manager. Period. Get ready for him to basically waste the careers of Sano, Buxton etc The best thing that could happen to this club is for Ryan to be fired, a new GM to come in and bring "his" guy with him to manage
  4. Molitor has literally cost this team a playoff spot this year with this bull**** bullpen management. I am so sick and tired of every ****ing Minnesota professional sports team being lead by **** ass managers and general managers.
  5. DUENSING SHOULD NOT BE ON A ****ING MAJOR LEAGUE ROSTER.
  6. Why are these even topics in a presidential debate?
  7. No problem, it's an honest question/topic IMO and part of a bigger debate: Is it better to pay for an ace in FA and fill in the middle rotation guys with cheaper signings/farm/trade. Or is it better to pay for a couple mid rotation guys? My buddy who is a Rangers fan was the one who sparked the discussion with me earlier today by basically saying, for that money we could have had either Hamels or Darvish and still had enough money left over for a Colby Lewis type.
  8. He has been picking up teamates all year, time for someone to pick him up in this situation.
  9. So after tonight... there really is no reason not to call up guys like Arcia, Kepler, Polaco, Pinto, right? Can't have enough bench players for games like this?
  10. Yeah, I actually really liked/like Punto as a player overall. But putting him as a starting 3B was a huge mistake. It's not an apples to apples comparison but I think the point remains, Gardy's opinions of Punto had him run him out there as a 3B wayyyy too much, and Molitor's opinion of Santana kept him as the SS way to long this year and has him relying on him way to much as a PH IMO. It's not a knock on Santana or really even Molitor to be honest, human emotion comes into any job and can effect decision making.
  11. After tonight Santana has a 4.55 ERA, has he been awesome these last three starts? Absolutely! But he has also looked dreadful in way too many games. He has talent no doubt, but the inconsistency keeps him from being a #1 or #2. As far as ace pitchers going to better teams etc etc, Money talks. Always has, always will. Pretty sure Price will goto about 26 different teams this off-season if they offer enough cashola.
  12. Injured, this late in the season with call ups etc there is no real point to putting a guy on the DL.
  13. I'd argue it was the exact wrong play in the situation with Suzuki and no real PH option available due up next. If the next batter is a guy like Mauer, Hicks, Rosario or Sano? By all means bunt him over to third and take your chances on a SF or a hit.
  14. Dribblers up the middle like that are just further proof you need guys that can strike people out in your pen.
  15. Or it turns into a double play...
  16. Yup. No harm no foul really.
  17. He has been clutch lately, get one more here Kurt!
  18. He is the best choice as of now, but give me Perkins 7 days a week. Jepsen has a bit of an inconsistency problem that you don't want out of your closer. Again, I'm THRILLED he is on our team next year, but he just isn't that "shut down" type you want out of a 9th inning guy, and not an elite 8th inning guy (but still can be a very good pitcher for the pen.
  19. A walk off by Buxton here would be sooooo amazing.
  20. Hard to blame Jepsen either, he never should have been forced into the closer role for this team. He is what he is, a solid RP. When he struggles like he did off the bad and doesn't "have it" the Twins should have someone to be able to come in and bail him out. Not his fault the next best guy available was Duensing....
