I'm kinda curious why Graham couldn't have been left in. Just another classic case of Molitor out smarting himself it appears.

    Cotts: another one of the Terry Ryan classic pick ups. F I R E R Y A N

    3rd night in a row.

Kinsler (much older) has appared in the same number of games. Forsythe as well. Cano one less (had an injury earlier this year and missed a couple games) Peterson and Altuve both within 3 as well. Still seems like a baseless excuse to be honest

I remember that Kubel Grand Slam. That was awesome.

This whole "dozier needs more rest" thing needs to stop as well. He is 28, in the prime of his career. Thousands of players have played 155 games or more in a season. Fatigue is just an excuse while ignoring the real issue (he needs to learn how to be more than a dead pull hitter, he doesn't have the elite power to pull it off)

We desperately need a catcher who can at least throw out a guy once in a while. If so that balk doesn't happen.

Did you see the hit? Should have been an infield pop up.
  10. DaveW
Why. Was. Graham. Not. Brought. In. Earlier. Molitor.
  11. DaveW
Dozier hasn't had a good at bat in 2 months it seems

haven't tried it at target field. But I know most stadiums they are insanely aggressive against it.

I went to a Yankee game (on a Saturday) with my brother and sister in town three weeks ago. We got our tickets for $6 total (3 tickets) including fees, and we were actually in the 3rd row, (400 level) but along the third base line. Fans aren't priced out due to ticket prices, it's all the other bullcrap that the stadiums charge once you get inside.

That's not how it went down, Santana and his agents wanted an offer from the Twins before he was just a year away from FA (like a lot of elite pitchers) the Twins never made him a serious offer so he demanded a trade. He and his agent had every reason in the world to be pissed at the Twins at that point.

Why was Graham not brought in to face Trout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. DaveW
You can find tix for like $10 a piece on stubhub. Average fan isn't priced out, average fan just has a lot more options what to do on a Thursday night. I think lowering beer prices to $5-$6 a pint would help a TON personally.

Wait. If Graham is available, why the hell was he not brought in to face Trout in the 2nd!?!?!??

Protip for the Twins the rest of the night: Walk. Trout.

Dick, can you please stop having an orgasm every time a ball is hit to the outfield? You are a terrible announcer, literally nobody thinks you are good. Retire. Please.
  20. DaveW
This is a really odd game.
  21. DaveW
Another no talent rook in to face trout. Genius. Molitor must have bet against the Twins in this game, that is the only explanation.
  22. DaveW
Trout: 4 runs offensively. 2 runs saved defensively. Take notes Buxton......
  23. DaveW
Even if the don't score again this inning, they needed at least a tiny amount of momentum again.
  24. DaveW
    They soooooo needed that run.
  25. DaveW
no matter what happens the rest of the game at that point, that will likely be the most important at bat of the game. i get not bringing in May or Jepsen, but at least bring in fien or Boyer for the out and an inning at that point. Guys who have actually gotten major leaguers out. Achter has shown nothing in the majors thus far. Hell, give me duensing over achter in that situation (feels sick)
