  1. I'm sure some people have also thought that throwing gasoline on a fire is better than just letting it burn, that doesn't make it even close to a good idea.
  2. Did Chief say this?
  3. We need to just let Social Security run out in the next 25-30 years. It was so stupidly implemented to begin with that we need to get rid of it ASAP.
  4. This will be the year that no 12 seeds win. This will be the year that only one number one seed makes the final four (Kansas)
  5. Except that it isn't, and fundamentally a student loan is nothing like a mortgage.
  6. Yeah, free 4 year education is a freaking joke, all that is going to lead to is more lifelong "academics", history students and art majors. I am all for free trade schools though or 2 years of community college. Let people go get a skill (assuming they meet certain academic standards) and then let them enter the workforce with a useful skill/degree or they can then go on to get their bachelors (and take out 2 years less in loans) I came out of school with over 60k in debt, I will have it completely paid off in the next 6 months for a total of 80k or so, it builds character. If you don't want to pay off student loans, then don't go out and get student loans!
  7. 5 posts later and you still haven't answered the very simple question I asked. Just more quips. Reminds me of Bernie as a whole, lots of good sounding quips and sound bites, very little to no substance/plan to back it up.
  8. I don't think Clinton or any politician anywhere really cares about the plight of the poor. Hilary certainly doesn't, so she isn't being a hypocrite like Bernie.
  9. Yet these people can't find any facts........again, other then young white males, what demographic has Bernie "won" over Hilary overall? "very liberal people" isn't a demographic btw.
  10. Also if Bernie really cared about the plight of the common man, poor person, disenfranchised, etc then he shouldn't accept their "$17 average donation" or whatever crap talking point he constantly points to. Tell those people to SAVE that money themselves or to invest that money, or go use that money and support their local neighborhood economy. Instead he lets them donate money they shouldn't be donating and is basically lighting it on fire, since he can't win.
  11. That is the only group he is winning. He attracts white young male college students, and the very very liberal. That's it. Yes, some random people pop up here and there, but that is more the exception.
  12. Basically he wins with "very liberal people" and places with colleges. Here is the article you pointed me to, what "real" demographic is he winning besides "Super Liberals" and "College" Is he winning Adults 35+? 50+? Females? Hispanics? Blacks? Middle Class?
  13. This is such a tired rebuttal, YES some other individuals from other groups (50+, women, Hispanic, black etc) will vote for Bernie (just like some college kids will vote for Hilary) Point me to a group that Bernie has won over Hilary (overall, not in some random small state), or just make another snarky quip since he hasn't won any other groups.
  14. The difference between Clinton and Obama is minimal (message wise etc) the difference between Sanders and Hilary is huge. The super delegates won't flock to Bernie because they know that Bernie would never be able to win a GE. FYI up 200 delegates is a ton at this point. That is more than Obama had at any point over Hilary. Hilarys odds have gone up week by week to win the nom, to where they are now a lock. The only thing that trips her up is some Major scandal or major health issue, and and even then Bernie can't win.
  15. Protesters by and large are THE WORST. Get a job or hobby.
  16. How about you actually show me a stat overall that shows him winning anything more than white males. Hilary destroys him across the board in every other demo more or less. He has no path to the nomination at this time, no matter how the idiots in the media will try to spin it. (Latest Vegas odds have Hilary at -1000) which is pretty much a stone cold lock. If somehow she has health issues or some other scandal last minute, then Biden would swoop in and take the nom. Bernie has won states like Oklahoma etc because of his ability to get the college kids to come out and vote in the primaries. PS I read 538 all the time. Bernie has no path to the nom.
  17. What other group has Bernie won over Hilary? White younger males. Name one more.
  18. This. This is a big reason why a bunch of n00bs with no life experience/no real knowledge (see: White Privileged College Students) are the only ones who truly are falling for the "message" GET OFF MY LAWN!
  19. To be frank, bringing up Turkey, Russia and Isreal (along with a lot of Europe) doesn't help bolster the case. The US has it's issues, but give me "our issues" over the issues of Russia, Turkey and a bunch of Europe (Greece anyone?) anyday. I agree that change will come and things will tend to shift (especially in regards to healthcare and hopefully education someday) however you can't just change things overnight and do a 180 degree ideological shift which is what Bernie is yelling on and on about. You can't do that in 2016 in a country the size of the US (both population and economy wise) Bernie would have about as much success (none) working with Congress as would Cruz if either won. I don't understand why people are so willing to bash Cruz for being unrealistic, but praise Bernie. They both would be disasters in the white house and would be a guaranteed one term POTUS (ditto with Trump, who would likely be impeached within his first 100 days) Oh and Bernie still has no real plan for our international relations.
  20. Source? He is winning with white males (mostly young white males) Hilary is taking everyone else (including the majority of " true independents"/middle of the road types)
  21. Free college? Taking down the banks and corporations? It's all pipedream bullplop. Once again, Bernie in his lifelong in politics has actually accomplished next to nothing, it's all bluster. There is a reason why the only group he really has going for him are the white college students.
  22. I know this is nothing shocking, but the way the media is cover this election is embarrassing, even if Bernie wins a couple states today it really doesn't make a difference, he is just too far behind in the delegate count at this stage. (And none of the super delegates Hilary has are going to switch over last minute as well) In reality, Bernie should probably just drop out after today, however he clearly loves the spotlight at this point, so we will continue to get beaten over the head with a false narrative that he "has a shot"
  23. Post your bold predictions here: Mauer .315/.397/.435 150 games played. 17 HR, 93 RBI Park .250/.375/.485 26 HR Sano .260/.420/.570 35 HR Nolasco 5.50 ERA 10 starts Buxton .275/.365/.400
  24. This series needs to wrap up next season. Season 4 was ok, but they have definitely jumped the shark at this stage.
  25. regardless, he has accomplished zero in the senate and remains the 2nd most partisan senator. In reality he is a pretty poor politician overall, all speak, no action..
