    Not sure if this was mentioned: @MikeBerardino: Teddy Plouffe (18.5 inches) was born at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday. Mom was induced at 7 a.m., so a long day for the whole family. Trevor due back Saturday. Ok, so much for happy news. Return to your regular bitchfest.

    Offer half the money and don't promise a starting position. If he accepts, fine. If he doesn't accept, fine. For the Twins, he makes a good 5th outfielder, occasional DH, and bench bat with some pop. For Torii, this team is liable to be pretty good next year and he may want a piece of that action.
