  1. I'll need to consult with the Voices on this one. We'll get back to you.
  2. Interesting little read. I presume Mauer had to pass the concussion protocol to return to playing. http://mayohealthhighlights.startribune.com/2016/02/05/hard-hitting-facts-about-concussion/
  3. "You people," huh? Okay. I'm guessing it would make a difference to the FBI how the body was found. Possibly the DHS. You know, those people.
  4. As far as I can tell, you're the guy who said (or didn't say) this? Which is it?
  5. Lying is good business. Just ask the people in Flint.
  6. They let him drive, too. http://youtu.be/H-_6DeeKgcs
  7. Since it's already been established that Trump is a Democrat. Kind of a Donkey Ninja.
  8. Three articles and two extra threads, but who's counting? Pitchers and catchers report in a week, so hopefully there will be something else to write about. Still, the site has grown to the point that having a managing editor (which is a different role from site admin or forum moderation) might be worth considering.
  9. I suppose when Joe asks me for my opinion I'll offer it. Otherwise, I consider it none of my business.
  10. I've GM'd games played essentially on a forum not unlike this one, for beginning players. Might be able to be talked into it again.
  11. I hope we don't become myopic on the topic of guns; there are other areas that require action as well. http://thebulletin.org/it-still-three-minutes-midnight9107
  12. This is also pure fantasy, yet I like it. I would not mind it being taught in military and law enforcement academies. “Do not hurt where holding is enough; Do not wound where hurting is enough; Do not maim where wounding is enough; and kill not where maiming is enough; The greatest warrior is he who does not need to kill."
  13. Thank you. I do appreciate the sincere answer.
  14. I certainly don't believe the guy next door has the right to search and seize my stuff, any more than he has to shoot me.
  15. I have to pause and wonder if the same folks getting bent out of shape here also expressed the same humanitarian grief over the deaths of Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.
  16. I deleted my somewhat inflammatory post in the spirit of detente. Still hope Alan Page gets mentioned in the conversation.
  17. "All men have an emotion to kill; when they strongly dislike some one they involuntarily wish he was dead. I have never killed any one, but I have read some obituary notices with great satisfaction." - Clarence Darrow
  18. Call Alan Page out of retirement.
  19. And shoot anybody trying to cross.
  20. At birth, even.
