    It's been so long, I've forgotten: is that when a pitcher starts an inning, and prevents the other team from scoring even one run that entire inning, unaided by someone from the bullpen coming on in relief, in effect being there on the mound when all three outs are recorded?

    Very sick of the ad for the movie "Unfriended" that is being shown between innings on the MLB.tv feed. Turning sound off has no effect when it re-runs, either.

    I think teams have a lot of say in the construction of the schedule, and the Twins likely request to avoid early season home games. At one time they also requested to avoid home games for Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, on the principle attendance would be down due to family picnics and whatever, but maybe that has changed with time.

    I'm officially done with Schafer. Trouble is, I'm also done with Hicks, unless/until sufficient time at AAA lets him polish some things up. Rosario isn't ready. Buxton is even farther away at the moment. No other options are credible.
