    I've been wondering through this whole Paddack situation. (I realize this isn't the first time this has happened to the Twins or any other MLB team). Are the physical checkpoints a player has to go through for a trade vs a free agent signing different? Maybe this is common knowledge. I'm genuinely curious to know.

    Someone suggested this, but I Googled the drive time. There's a five minute difference between the two. Or, 15 miles if you're a Midwesterner who judges road trips on mileage instead of time
