    Yep, 2 games a week is about right for Mauer at this stage.

    I've been to Germany during Oktoberfest, which ironically is mostly in September. There is lots of beer............like, I mean......lots. Beer and schnitzel is a match made in heaven.

    A Vargas/Mauer platoon at 1st makes the most sense to me at this point. Give Kennys regular playing time and see if he puts it together. Park is always an option if he's tearing it up in AAA and Vargas struggles.

    14 games is a small sample to base things on, that's what is relevant. Not Micah Bowie, at least get his name right. If that's your only comparable, you might want to keep looking.

    What is decent about Kyle Gibson's track record? It screams terrible. Statistically speaking Santiago might be his doppleganger with a slightly higher K/9. Plouffe is who he is, his fielding will never be good enough to make up for his bat vs Miguel. If Sano can make incremental improvements in the field (which I expect to happen), his bat will always make him the better option at 3rd, particularly if he can cut his K rate. Berrios buried in Rochester? Huh? At 22 years old and 14 MLB games? I don't think many people anywhere in baseball would agree with that assessment. Pretty small sample to be basing it on, especially when you consider his sterling minor league success. Weird.

    I've already done my Mexican food where I live lament. I love tacos as well, I just can't get good ones as much as I'd like. Favourite alcohol Beer Beer Beer Rum Rye Gin Not a fan of vodka and refuse to recognise it as a legitimate ingredient for a martini. I like golf, used to be pretty good at it, then children came along and spending 5 hours on a Sunday playing golf no longer seemed important. Been to Rushmore, impressive. I really like the Black Hills area. I was once in Deadwood and took part in the re-enactment of the shooting of Wild Bill Hickock at Saloon 10. My kids were terrified I was actually in danger of getting shot, and I wasn't even playing Bill.

    Clinton may not be the best candidate in the history of the Democratic party but the candidates the GOP trotted out for election should be an insult to America's collective intellect.
