  1. Either Ryan vastly overrates this team or he has very little faith in it, I'm not even sure which. I tend to think it's the former considering the Jepsen deal, otherwise why bother?
  2. I don't think the bigger point on Sano is lost on everyone. It just happens that his performance at the plate, no matter how unproductive, has been the only thing to celebrate. This lineup needs a shakeup no matter how you cut it. Unfortunately the best way to accomplish that has passed but there are still options available, they might not be optimal but it's hard to imagine they could be worse than the status quo.
  3. Just more talk from TR, I'm pretty disillusioned with him right now, I no longer believe he is the right person to take the Twins to the next level. I honestly believe he treats fans, especially knowledgeable, thoughtful fans with contempt a lot of the time. There is no reason on God's green earth that this bullpen, catcher situation and overall roster construction should still be in the state it's in for a team in contention at the end of July. It's indefensible imo.
  4. Win, told ya! Quite obviously my presence was the difference.
  5. give it a rest Halsey, in no way shape or form was Plouffe the biggest contributor in this. The record is broken already.
  6. Ditto, I know it's an emotional reaction to a frustrating loss, but the ignorance and stubborn unwillingness to act on the very thing that cost this team yet another game is like a huge slap in the face. If Terry Ryan can't see what's wrong with this ****ing club and figure out a way to try and fix it, especially considering their position, then I've officially lost faith in him.
  7. You've got to be kidding me? How 'bout that starting SS eh Dave?
  8. I'm still not forgiving that ****ing bullpen!
  9. What a colossal ****ing joke this is! The patronage and deference to vets on this team is sickening. Now May comes in the game, what cowards.
  10. **** this!!! I swear to ****ing god what more do these **** heads need to see from this **** ass bullpen!! Get your head out of your ass TR!!!!!
  11. Amen brother, preaching to the choir......or singing, whichever you prefer.
  12. Apparently 0-2 counts don't agree with Mr. Fien. I think his version of expanding the zone needs, uh....expanding.
  13. Monumentally disappointing if they don't do something. Bare minimum is a RP, that absolutely has to be done, they can't spend the month of August watching games implode in the 7th inning, it will be too late.
  14. So my ATM card could be magiccashmachinery411......I'm going to have to write that down somewhere before I forget.
  15. The only thing that bothered me last night, other than Santana's play, was that Mike Pelfrey continues to start and Trevor May sits in the bullpen. I can't even adequately describe the frustration of that situation.
  16. Catcher, bullpen, don't sell the farm to do it but something needs to be done about both, do something.
  17. It was a nice play, I thought he could have got to Freese's 2 hopper up the middle. Dozier came almost as close. I don't think his arm is much of an issue, I think it's his best asset.
  18. Sad part is if Gibson starts that DP we're likely still sitting 2-0...........................not that it would matter with the plate approach tonight.
